It’s been a day or two (way more) since any musicians have been featured in The Shade Garden with an interview, but this week, Juniper had a delightful talk with Declan McKay and Cian O’Hare of Northern Ireland’s modern folk band, The New Leaves.

This Sunday during her weekly show, she will share segments of their interview. Tune in to hear about their new album, “A Sketch of Home” (label: Corn Cake Records).

Find out how a castle dungeon was involved in getting their album recorded, how lyrics were written, what aspirations they have, and which songs they each connect with from the album.
