Are you looking to increase engagement in your Stories? 🙋‍♀️ Try using these story stickers.

Stories are a great way to develop your relationships with your followers and these particular stickers are a great way of encouraging them to respond to your stories. We all love to give our opinion, share if we prefer one thing over another, and even more so if we can relate to the content.

A few ways you could use this in your content:

Do you get to Wednesday and think “Oh no! I haven’t posted anything on Facebook/Instagram etc”, log on quickly and post without really thinking about what you are posting? 🙋‍♀️ We're all guilty of it sometimes!

Every piece of content you post on social media should always support your overall goals. Take time to figure out what your social media goals are before you start posting content.

Before you post, ask yourself ‘What is the purpose of my post?’ Is it:

✨ To show my personality
✨ To engage with my audience
✨ To get leads
✨ To help others
✨ To develop relationships

A quick tip for today is to avoid using fancy fonts in your captions and bio.

You might think using fancy fonts on your social media is trendy but they are a nightmare for screen readers. If you want people to be able to access and engage with your social media, it needs to be accessible to as many people as possible.

Personally I find fancy fonts difficult to read and haven't got time to work out what they're trying to say either!

Having a ‘call to action’ is a popular marketing phrase, but what does it mean and how can you use it for your business on social media?

A 'call to action' is an action that you want your reader to take after reading your content. These are usually placed at the end of your caption, post, blog etc indicating the next step for the reader. Different calls to action can be used depending on the aim of your post - to drive traffic to your website, to encourage engagement, to buy a product.

When choosing your call to action, ask yourself;
- What do you want your reader to do next?
- Why do you want your reader to take that action?
- How can you encourage your reader to take that action now?

If you have school children like me, you will be on the last few days before the 6-week holiday. The pressure to keep attracting new followers whilst juggling child care can feel like too much.

How about using the summer holidays to deepen your relationship with your existing followers? Increase your use of Stories to show behind the scenes, using engagement stickers to get to know them better. Start conversations and enjoy chatting with your existing followers. Listen to their frustrations/ pain points and identify what content you could create that would help them.

Do you need thousands of followers to run your business? Or do you need a small community of loyal supporters who love what you do?
