As parents of twins we did something very different the other day. Whilst twin one was away in Manchester to watch Hamilton, we took twin two to York to the National Railway Museum. It was a very different experience to what we’ve been used to. Just because we’ve taken them everywhere together doesn’t mean we have to always do it that way. It was a wonderful experience and reinforces my thoughts about fear very often being worse than the reality (in my experience). Today I did something quite rare! I took a cuppa, grabbed a pen and notebook and just wrote for almost an hour about anything that came out of my head, from my bed. Some of it was nonsense, other stuff personal and some stuff that felt freeing to just get down on paper. Most of all it was writing words, which is what I love ✍🏻 Why am I telling you this? Because this cathartic exercise at 8am not only set me up for the day but it started bringing up lots of ideas about how I can help business owners get more visible and vocal around their brand - without the ‘icky hard sell tactics that can bring down the most resilient person. I’ll certainly be doing more of the same tomorrow because I’m never happier than when I’m lost in my writing 🖋️ Love Claire x
