Defence Secretary Grant Shapps visits MBD.A and the assembly line of the Storm Shadow cruise missile. Hand assembled and 2.2 million quid a pop it's one of the most secure sites in the UK and the first time that a journalist and photographer had been let in to see the weapon that has made a significant impact in Ukraine.
They were a little jittery to say the least, so too was I when they removed all transmitting gear, phones laptops, watches AND my flash trigger! Aghhhh! Luckily I was carrying a flash sync cord so hard wired the unit to the camera, proper Old Skool for a very quick portrait. For The Times.

Some assignments such are a privilege to witness. After 10 successive years, the Alyth Synagogue debated whether to hold the 11th Ramadan iftar, where Muslims are invited into the synagogue to break their Ramadan fast and eat, pray and learn together with the Jewish congregation. Despite the pain on both sides due to the Gaza conflagration they went ahead.
It was inspiring and encouraging to see Iman's and Rabbi's talking, laughing and eating together along with both communities expressing their friendship and grief together. The World as it should be- and for a brief time, photographing this for The Times, I felt a sense of hope.
