Off for a casual trip to see the incredible degree show from Carmarthen School of Art at Coleg Sir Gar✌️

It’s so exclusive it’s only open a few more days until it closes shop ready for the foundation show (which is also going to be a bit of a corker too!)

Congrats to all the students and staff for curating such a beautiful show.

We’re taking this relationship to the next level. You like creative things. We like creative things. It’s about time we sealed the deal.

Papur Media Ltd is officially registered. We are not for profit independent creatives on a mission to put South West Wales on the map for the arts (outside of Cardiff)!

Wales is diverse and the arts don’t need to be complicated. We want to show it off and make it easier for folks to find cool stuff to look at and fun opportunities to get your creative juices flowing.

Some disclaimers to get started… we won’t be talking about shows, plays and gigs (unless there’s a gallery opening involved!?)... Cause let’s be real now, there is plenty of places for musicians to advertise in Wales. The ones in the market stalls and craft fairs learning how to make it on YouTube. The artist who paid for their own gallery show and hasn’t got a clue where to go to tell people about it. We are working our socks off to make Papur Media the go to place for you.

So, if you support the people brave enough to still give the arts a go even though their parents really wish they were lawyers, then you like this page, you share our posts, you feed us the content we need to keep the arts alive in our little towns and villages. ♥️

We are seeking a part-time (1.5 days) Network Facilitator to work with the Artes Mundi team and with the members of the Held-Space for Global Majority Artists in Wales (Held-Space Network) to co-design and deliver a programme of events, workshops and meetings. This is an exciting opportunity to welcome new talent into our dedicated curatorial and programme team and support artists, curators, writers, and others working in the visual arts in Wales.

🗓 This position is offered as a 12-month contract on a freelance basis.
💷 An inclusive fee of £10,400 is available for an anticipated 1.5 days/11.25 hours per week to be paid in monthly instalments by invoice.
💻 Part-time: averaging up to 1.5 days (11.25 hours) per week
