Maybe this can help someone.

I honestly don't believe I'm in this world to be happy.

Being happy is not a necessary state to be.

If happiness alludes to comfort, being still, relaxed and always in your comfort zone.

Sometimes we are presented with a distorted understanding of 'Happiness' and due to that we suffer anxiety, stress, depression and all other negative thoughts and feelings.

I believe life is about having stability or istiqaama.

Having stability in your life is the key thing. Being stable mentally, spiritually, financially and physically.

Yes having these things should result to something, why do you want to be stable on these areas of life?

What's the end result?

As a Muslim, for me happiness is the end result of life and that we won't know in this life, its in the here after.

And stability in my life will help to achieve that happiness.

We can definitely have joy, peace and achieve small milestones in life.

So if you are feeling down, upset, Uncomfortable remember.
Don't be upset because you're not happy but get yourself to a position of stability.

Well that's my thoughts anyway.

All the best.

Is being good productive?

We must try to step out of ourselves and remove how the end benefits us and think about what would please the Lord.

I'm not saying I always do this at the end of the day we're human but it's sure something I wish I could do.

Right so it looks like my personal insta account? 24pictures account and bitesize madrassa account all have been hacked. Probably about 20k following gone.

Honestly not bothered. My accounts gone I'm still here. 24pictures alhamdulilla is doing better than ever. And bite size madrassa has helped those who it's helped so that's all good.

Now for me to start again.

Me personally. Soon I will start building my new brand trying to help businesses to run businesses properly as I've learnt and done alot since the lifting of covid restrictions. I would not claim any titles but I would like to share the things that I'm learning.
Hopefully this helps breed entrepreneurs from our community and helps people build better businesses so they can bring benefits to the community.

Bite size madrassa: I've been very quite lately. To be honest a slight loss of confidence. However I've been learning a lot and now I understand the audience that I want to aim for.

I want to help those people from 'the streets' who are in the process of transitioning on to the right path.

So people who finally think 'man I need to fix up' I want to be the stepping stone to Islamic introduction courses in a language and manner that they understand. This has always been my thing and currently bite size kind of shifted into something else but I'm bringing it back to this. Grass roots.

24pictures: we started doing video promos then went on to documentaries but now have found our feet in video marketing. Which means we help businesses grow using video content.

So thats it folks. Remember you will always have setbacks in life and you must have a heart that is always ready to bounce back from anything. Minor.

I'll appreciate your guys feedback on any of the above. Honestly I know I'm not the best person for these tasks but I'm passionate about them and I just want to do the things I want to do achieve in life.

Like I said no claims. Its All about sharing what I've learnt and learning. Not claiming to be a guru or an expert on any of the fields.

So bismilla.

There is a war against depression or is depression at war against us?

It's important that we tackle depression and also help those who are suffering from it.

But another important question is how do we prevent depression?

We know the symptoms of depression buts it's important that we know it's precentatives too.

As a Muslim for me it's starts with the worshiping of Allah swt. Worship or prayer done consistently enough increases one's faith which results to realisation of purpose of life. Where life makes sense which makes it easier to come into terms with events and emotions we experience.

I'm not giving no medical or any professional advice on the topic however I've read and heard professionals (not from social media) speak about this many a times.

Then being sensitive of what we allow to enter into our bodies and thats just not food and drink. We have many inputs to our bodies which include the eyes, the ears, the nose, the mouth and also our entire body can be q vehicle of perception at times.

They say a person is the average of the 5 people who he/she spend their time with the most. If we are around corrosive people then we too shall be corrosive. Or if we are around righteous people who carry positive energy around them then you will inhale the fragrance of their sincerity. If we are around positive thinkers, morally upright people, empathetic people and people with a purpose then we too shall embrace these qualities and in result hopefully give us more of a purpose in life.

However people who suffer from mental health have deep deep issues that can relate to upbringing, trauma, deep experiences either consciously or subconsciously so it's never that simple hence why it requires professional help. So speak up!

Counseling and therapy are not negatives it's just another form of coaching. Every successful person in life always needs coaching and counselling at some parts of their life if not all.

And as the great prophet Muhammad peace be upon him taught 'religion is to seek and give good counselling.'

So seek out good company, good people to be with, that friend who invites you to good circles that's who you need to be with. Sitting in a car full of junk heads, chatting about the same thing they were talking about 15years ago is not going to elevate or stimulate your mind not one bit.

Preserve
We must go into a deep state of self preservation. We live in times where our every asset we possess is up for grabs. Our time, faith, morals, wealth, health, brain and life is all for sale right now people.

Social media makes money from YOUR time. Yes you're for sale but guess what you ain't getting paid someone else is. Back in the days people would fall in a trench and then sold off as a slave well guess what, now we can be trapped and sold for years and be under a different type of slavery and not even know it.

Your mind and thoughts are up for grabs. They spend BILLIONS trying to give you and feed you as much as information as possible leaving your mind reaching critical mass in taking in so much information that its recollection of anything makes it very difficult.

And I can go on and on and on.

So to conlcude. Preserve yourself, your qualities of life, your time and your mind and you will make the battle against mental illness alot more easier.

May we live a life of prosperity and preservation and Allah help those who are suffering from any types of illnesses.

Ameen

Reflections #1

The Equaliser

I've sat back and watched myself and others on how we react once we fear we are about to lose something or someone. We've just hardly come out of a pandemic, watched loved ones isolate themselves and even worse some were not even fortunate enough to watch them leave..

And there is a fuel shortage and people are behaving like we've not been through worse. During the pandemic, I was struggling to find groceries and necessities for my family and it was then i realized one thing. 'What is meant to be for you won't miss you and what is not you will never get.'

Since then, whether it's a shortage of luxury foods, fuel or whatever that goes into the realms of beyond necessity doesn't phase me and the ironic thing is these things have started to come to me even more.

If God tests us with our necessities, and we pray for safety and security, we have to always remember that the one who provides for the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky is the same Lord that provides for you. However, fish in the sea and birds in the sky do die and sometimes they die out of starvation.

So time is ticking. No matter what resource is diminishing, whether it be food, drink, materials, money or fuel, it's always important to remember that the most valuable asset to every human being is already diminishing.. life its self due its ephemeral nature.

The most valuable asset to you in this is life itself and the most disturbing experience one will go through is the pangs of death and no matter what religion, creed or race you are guaranteed to be subjects of both phenomena but for some reason this type of topic is seen as a morbid topic to speak about but the only guaranteed experience of life.

So how do we focus on death and stay motivated?

Personally, the ultimate motivator is death. We all have a time limit, a time of expiry and as time passes by we are moving closer to it. So what aspirations do you have of life? What goals do you want to achieve? What relationships do you want to build on? How do you want to progress in faith, character and assets? Death should motivate you to all of these aspirations as tomorrow is not promised and time is short. Addition to that it should put all other experiences into perspective. The soul knows its temporal relationship with the body so death has its own required attention but when we put those thoughts to the back of the mind then it will channel that fear into other smaller worries of life. Once a person realises that the greatest consequence of life is death itself then all other consequences seem to fit in their appropriate place. Hence why its essential we engage in projects and activities that are worth our time or in another words, worth our life. Each activity you give your time to in reality you are giving a portion of your life.

So next time something goes wrong in life remember, it's not as bad as what's actually going to happen so move on and live another day in being positive and trying to achieve what you have set out for before we meet our Lord.
