Happy Christmas Eve Eve, people! The eagle eared amongst you will have noticed that Afternoon Alternative did not air again this afternoon. Sadly the continued impact of the Pulse Community Radio studio move has meant that there will be no shows for the moment, until we are set up in our new home.

I did, however, prepare a show for today - the 2023 Afternoon Alternative Christmas Special! So, I will be leaving you for the moment with this little gem - available now via Soundcloud via the link below. And hopefully won't be too long into the new year before I'm back on your airwaves again.

Guys, it seems I spoke too soon. Typical! I've just been informed that the internet is down at the station and no scheduled shows will be played out today. I am really sorry - absolutely gutted as this was a particularly good one, in my humble opinion!

I am currently working to get the show files loaded up to Soundcloud so you can still listen. This will hopefully be done within the next half hour - will post as soon as I can. Apologies if you were tuning in live!

Happy Friday, folks! So, I have bad news and good news… let’s start with the bad news.

Sadly, Pulse Community Radio is officially homeless. As of tomorrow, we’re no longer able to use our premises in Barrhead and so there will be no live shows for the foreseeable due to there being no studio space for us to broadcast from. 😔

But, the good news is that Afternoon Alternative will be continuing uninterrupted, despite the current lack of studio. Until we find a new home, I’ll be pre-recording Afternoon Alternative from my spare room, wine in hand, with all the usual features and all your alternative faves. It’ll take more than a lack of a studio to keep this girl down! 💪

So tune in from 2pm on Saturday, in all the usual places - and it’s a belter of the show (I’ve recorded it already this evening and it’s a good ‘un - if I do say so myself! 🤣)
