🥿👚👖Who spends too much money on clothes?

▫️Do you feel like you've never anything to wear?
▫️Do you buy stuff but still feel unfulfilled when you try to put outfits together?
▫️Do you buy loads of cheaper items to feel like you've always got lots of nice new things to choose from?
👠 Or prefer one or two nicer items every couple of months?

Changing lifestyles can mean a big wardrobe change is needed, or wanted.
▫️Do you budget for clothes shopping?
▫️Do you sell older items to make room as well as create funds?

I'd love to know your thoughts on this below because my desires for new things are less when shopping for bargains purely for pleasure & more on genuinely adding things that I really love and NOT FEELING GUILTY ABOUT IT!

Budget friendly super healthy oat & banana pancakes 🥞

1 beaten egg
A few spoonfuls of oats
A glob of peanut butter
Mashed banana 🍌

Stir the batter & dollop a large spoonful in a pan (i used a little butter in the pan but coconut 🥥 oil works beautifully too)

A quick rhubarb coulis & bobs your uncle!

I’d planned to cook popcorn chicken weeks ago but never got round to it.
Having bought the sesame oil & soy sauce I thought I’d give it a bash tonight.
It’s really yummy however the slaw I made did not look all that pretty 😁 - recipe on the app - it’s Donal’s sticky soy & ginger recipe.

Got very excited to see a slither of Spring today so what did we do?
Whizz off to the garden centre of course!

Then remembered a tad too late that I’ve got a Fiat 500 …

Squashed it all in somehow 😄

Gardening is expensive isn’t it! But it’s such a pleasure seeing the beauty in nature come to life.

Very happy - meal planned last week & ended up with leftover garlic 🧄 provençale prawns.

I’ve got a confession - I still feel the same fear of Maths that I did back at school.
Looking around me at my school friends, heads bowed over their books whilst I felt the familiar rise of panic is still with me today.
I felt like an alien, every class made zero sense.

A spreadsheet was my idea of hell even now, if it’s complicated & there’s too many numbers on one page.

Is it yours too?

I learned to manage my money, I had to, I bought my first home at 25.
As a retail manager I learned simple bookkeeping & KPI analysis. I used those skills to improve how I managed my money!

What was so amazing, it made sense! The leverage, the push & pull, the success that came from driving one area of focus.

Fast forward & I now teach others how to manage their money with mentoring, workshops and guidance sessions.

Learning the basics & adapting a beautifully simple spreadsheet so it suits you perfectly will put you firmly in the driving seat with no feelings of panic.

It’s liberating!

Sometimes we all need an overhaul, a spring clean & a good clear out.

Financial & Economic Abuse

It’s staggering how many people are affected by abuse full stop.

Properly wintering tonight!!
Turmeric, garlic 🧄 & ginger 🫚 root veg cheese with a crispy lardon topping yum!!
Cheap but lovely cauliflower, carrots, sweet potato & leek seasonal bake.

Easy & cheap homemade bechemel, always all in one method, no lumps!

Meal planning for me means choosing 4 recipes for dinner so I’ve got all the good stuff in the house, then cook what I fancy on the night.

Leftovers for lunch or frozen
And enough wiggle room for diary changes & weekend cooking.
