This behaviour, by one of the highest profile Quaker families in the country is utterly unacceptable and deserves to be publicly denounced by Friends. On top of this these striking workers deserve the support from Quakers. We have, as a worshiping community, failed them through the failings of the Clarks family and we need to push for this issue to be supported in our Local Meetings, in Area Meetings and Meeting for Sufferings. These workers as workers for a Quaker company (one of the last ones) are a part of our community, we have a corporate responsibility to uphold in standing with them against the unquakerly behaviours of Clarks.
