Rebecca Hojlund a local trained opera singer is performing a collection of songs from the Opera as part of her new project “Opera Anywhere”

We are celebrating 200 years of Saving Lives at Sea. Here is the Shanty that Martin Bruce wrote to honour all the amazing volunteers and the development from 1824 till now.

Saturday February 17 the Community Centre was buzzing with activity and the sharing of knowledge of how to best improve our environment. There were experts on hand to answer questions and people went away armed with leaflets and a deeper understanding of what they could get involved in.

The people of Rye Harbour and Rye donated lots of warm clothes, hand warmers and money for the charity Warming Up the Homeless and brought them to the service at Rye Harbour Church of the Holy Spirit
They donations were collected today and the charity’s outreach workers were blown away with the donations
