We only have 60 tickets left for the concert and prizegiving, and we know that quite a few people still have to get tickets! Don't leave it too late.

Young people making great Manx music...

This is always something we'll be enormous fans of, so it was wonderful to be able to support the recent Manx Virtual Music Competition with a grant from the Board. Hundreds of young people from all over the Isle of Man took part in a virtual music competition in a year when so many other events had had to be cancelled.
We were delighted to see not just the volume and quality of the entries, but also the number of people who chose to do specifically Manx music or songs - all of whom are doing a great thing!

Being a virtual music festival, it means that videos are available of all the outstanding performers.
All can be enjoyed here, including many classes specifically for Manx song, though Manx music appears throughout the different groups:

So that's a wrap for all of our competitions! A huge thanks to all of the competitors, parents, teachers, accompanists and adjudicators - a tremendous amount of work has gone into doing the videos, and this wouldn't have happened without you.

'Overall I was blown away by the talent on show - the singers were stand out for me, such a variety of songs, styles and such a consistently high standard. There are some stars of the future in these videos. Thank you for all the work you have put in to make this work - it has been a true pleasure to adjudicate these fabulous young people. The IOM should be very proud of it’s musicians.'
