It was fantastic that friend and entertainment legend Ian Freeman stopped by to chat with Philip Crowshaw and Passions. Was an honour to work with Ian on the 2020 Royal Variety Performance, Royal Variety Charity Winter Gardens Blackpool, and it was a great achievement by Ian and of course Giles Cooper, that the magic happened in a year we will never forget.

Businessman, television consultant and former theatrical agent Ian Freeman was born into the most powerful dynasty in entertainment. Lew Grade, a former Russian Charleston dancer, secured the rights for Britain’s first commercial television network in 1955 and together with London Palladium manager Val Parnell established Associated Television (ATV). This wasn’t the only Grade family business that was thriving as during the early 1930’s Lew and his brother Leslie had created The Grade Organisation which would become one of the most prolific talent agencies in the world.
Ian promptly joined the organisation as a junior theatrical agent in 1968 working under the formidable entertainment agent Cyril Berlin who was specifically responsible for such stars as Des O’Connor, Lonnie Donnagan and Ted Rogers. This was a true powerhouse of entertainment
After four years at the Grade Organisation, Ian made the move into the Leisure industry with his cousin Michael Grade. Their company First Leisure was and quickly expanded to music bars and seaside attractions.
Having enjoyed a long association with the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund ever since his uncle; Bernard Delfont was made life president in 1962, Ian was honoured in 2007 when he was asked to become the honorary treasurer of the EABF, now the Royal Variety Charity. Spend some time with us and enjoy the chat. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhVLxSMSwIy8wQLSAx0SBA

Soooo excited that Ian Dickerson took time out to speak to Passions - The man who signed my letter of acceptance to the Saint Club. Yes I have read all of the Saint books (The Saint in New York is my personal favourite) I have watched all of Sir Roger Moore's episodes, Ian Ogilvy, has kindly acknowledged my part, when he autographed the attached shot, and I drive an XJS because of Return of the Saint, I adore every episode of Return of the Saint and so wanted to be the Saint more than Bond growing up - ok I am a fan, and no one knows more than Ian Dickerson about the man who fought the Ungodly, and with a piratical smile, won! Katie Clements as we know it's you that needs to have a proper job as I am sticking to the boyhood dream for work! Paul Robinson is this ok? I can still do all the other stuff!

A writer, director and producer Ian has written about adaptations of Leslie Charteris's The Saint and Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.

He directed Randall and Hopkirk (Revisited) for Network in 2007 and the following year acted as producer on the documentaries The Saint Steps In...To Television and The Saint Steps In...To Colour.
His books include The Saint on TV, The Saint on the Radio Who is the Falcon? and "A Saint I Ain't"
Enjoy our interview with Philip Crowshaw - I did and thank you Ian Dickerson
The Saint will return

Fundraising legend James Patrick Hanaway, talks to
Philip Crowshaw from Passions

From Demelza Hospice Care For Children through to Big-Cat Sanctuary, to name but a few, James has worked around the world leading fundraising strategies, bringing in millions of pounds for good causes and I have been privileged to share a number of those adventures with my pal. From being offered 000’s of pounds in a historic castle just to prove there was nothing under his kilt, through to a superyacht with DS Techeetah Formula E Team where his auctioneering skills delivered under the bright lights of Monaco to now being the man who spends his days with Lions, Tigers, Snow Leopards, and Jaguars, raising the monies to keep these magnificent animals on the planet.

So please spend some time with us, you will not regret it. Oh, he also is not a bad singer either, link attached for his latest project with , Mr Mason himself gave the nod to this and sent a message of support…. frankly, he is so talented, I don’t know why I like this guy

Theatres and venues are opening up once again to welcome and audiences and The Passions Project is delighted to talk with Bill Deamer one of Britain's leading choreographers

Bill started his career when, employed as lead dancer in a production of Cabaret in the West End (choreographed and directed by his mentor Dame Gillian Lynne OBE), he was offered an opportunity to choreograph his own version of Cabaret at Salisbury Playhouse. …

He was reunited with Gillian Lynne when he was invited by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sir Trevor Nunn to create the new tap choreography for the critically-acclaimed production of Cats at The London Palladium 2014 (which has subsequently run world-wide). Other notable productions include Top Hat (For which Bill won the Olivier Award for Best Choreographer), the 50th Anniversary UK Tour of The Sound of Music, Evita at the Dominion Theatre and the acclaimed Follies at The National Theatre directed by Dominic Cooke, for which Bill was nominated for his third Olivier Award.

Bill is also a very successful choreographer for film & television - His keen eye for the camera has served him well, most notably for So You Think You Can Dance, ITV’s All Star Musicals and the hit BBC series Strictly Come Dancing. Enjoy

Delighted my old friend, both rugby and of course Strictly legend, Austin Healey popped in to talk to The Passions Project.

Oz's illustrious career saw him win 51 England caps and 2 Lions caps. He played for England at scrum half, fly-half, fullback and wing, he played in five Six Nations tournaments (‘98-'02) and in the 1999 World Cup. Austin played in four successive Premiership titles from 1999, winning the Man of the Match award in successive Heineken Cup Final victories in 2001 and 2002.

His last-minute break set up the clinching score for Leon Lloyd in Paris in 2001 and he added a try of his own as Tigers became the first team to retain the trophy against Munster 12 months later.
Oz also won a Pilkington Cup Final and scored 61 tries in 248 appearances for the Tigers
