As an agency we’ve began incorporating The Golden Circle into our business model. It’s a concept developed by Simon Sinek who believed that ‘people do not buy what you do, they buy why you do it’. According to Sinek, most consumers begin communicating with the ‘what’ they do aspect and eventually work their way back to talk about ‘how’ and ‘why’ they do what they do. ⁣

This is a concept followed by both Apple and Google who communicate with an ‘inside-out’ type of thinking. They start with the why and only then do they move on to talk about the how and what portions of what they do. ⁣

Direct To Offer strategy involves directing your customers directly to your landing page via your ad in the form of a ‘Shop Now’ call to action. Use this with e-commerce businesses where you only want sales.⁣

A Lead Magnet is an enticing offer to somebody who visits your website, usually in the form of pop-ups or a highlighted box. The visitor will pay for the offer with their email address. You then use their email for email marketing purposes until that email address becomes a lead. ⁣

Omnipresence strategy is the power of being everywhere. It involves producing content and advertising it constantly so it is always in your target markets consciousness. It involves using a variety of channels but the over exposure pay-off can be huge. ⁣

A lot of brands fail on Tik Tok because they immediately begin posting videos without warming up the app’s algorithm. Consequently, unless they get lucky with a viral video, the brand will be unsuccessful in reaching its target audience.
We recommend not posting for four days after downloading the app. Instead, begin liking, sharing and commenting on Tik Tok videos which relate to your industry. This way, the algorithm will understand your target audience and industry a lot better. Once you begin posting after four days, Tik Tok will show your content to accounts which like similar stuff and you’ll be able to begin your journey with Tik Tok 💭🧑‍💻.

We understand finding relevant topics to use for your content can be a right nuisance for many businesses. That’s why we’ve devised a four-step plan to help you with your content creation and enable you to target your customer persona’s.

1.Reference your customer persona’s challenges

For instance, a company selling agricultural equipment could review their persona’s and find that their customers struggle with increasing their agricultural yield. You can then create content targeting this problem. These challenges can provide ideal topics to connect to your consumers with.

2.Find patterns from customer feedback and analytics on what content’s worked for your business in the past

Have a look at your analytics, which photos / videos generated a spike in engagement? This may be a good talking point for your content. Additionally, keep a record of all the questions you’ve asked your customers and look for trends in their responses.

3.Provide helpful next steps in the form of Call to Actions

Whenever possible, include a call to action to encourage the consumer to read an article or blog, or more videos on whatever topic was being mentioned. For instance, you may begin creating content which includes ‘Facts Of The Day’, then you follow this with extra reading in the form of a call to action.

4.Format your content so that it’s easy to follow and read

1.Make sure your Facebook Ad Copy and Headline is clean

Any cursing or innuendo’s which go against Facebook Ads policy will disadvantage your ad significantly. Check out our next post for the words which cause the most ad rejection and highest costs for businesses.

2.Never get too direct with your ads

For instance, including ‘you’ and ‘your’ in your ads tend to make your target audience feel ‘targeted’ and called-out. Although, this is okay in some instances, its best to not make your ads too personal.

3.Ensure your Facebook Ads always end with an appropriate Call-To-Action

Your call to action provides your business with the chance to motivate your audience to take real steps into becoming a client or customer. It’s the determining factor between a lead and a conversion. Call to actions can include ‘Sign Up now!’, ‘Register now!’ and ‘Get 10% off with your first purchase using the discount code…’

4.The power of being natural

When writing your ad, make sure it sounds like you or your brand. This works best. This can involve making an offer or telling a story but ensure that whatever you post is as natural as possible. Facebook algorithm loves when ads look and feel organic 🍃🍃

5.Maintain positivity

Minimize pain points in your ad (e.g. being overweight, broke or lonely). Get creative with them instead, or switch to a completely positive approach instead. Always focus on the benefits and avoid negativity, otherwise you’ll most likely experience expensive costs or rejected ads.
