John Ridgway is nothing less than a legend of British comics. Renowned for his detailed linework, imagination, and bold inks, his art is adored by fans the world over. He has drawn extensively for 2000 AD, Marvel and created the style for DC’s Hellblazer, as well as illustrating stories for Doctor Who Magazine including the fondly remembered 'Voyager' and 'The World Shapers' stories.

Graeme Curry's THE HAPPINESS PATROL is back!

Working with our good friends at SFX Magazine, we've brought together former Doctor Who Script Editor ANDREW CARTMEL and ADRIAN SALMON (Doctor Who Magazine, 2000 AD) for a brand-new six-part story, 'The Death of Fifi'.

Centering on the human colony world of Terra Alpha, 'The Happiness Patrol' painted a world where sadness is prohibited - on pain of death!

Andrew Cartmel remembers Graeme Curry, writer of the original Doctor Who serial the comic is based on: "Graeme came into my office one day and told me about his final shot at coming up with a Doctor Who idea. It was set on a planet where it's a crime to be unhappy. 'Great', I said. 'You're on...'"
