❗️UPDATE // After a long period of consideration, we have decided that Social Nanny will cease trading as of 30th September 2022.

Social Nanny was initially set up as a freelance social media management service to help tide Chris and I over in the early stages of the pandemic following my redundancy. The growth that we experienced meant that this became a longer-term solution.

However, what a lot of people don't see is the late nights, the constant anxiety, the self-doubt, the burnout and all of the other challenges that business owners face on a daily basis. I appreciate that's partly what running a business entails but it's not for me.

On a positive note, now is the time for me to return to employment. I thought I'd be doing that after a few months of Social Nanny giving some sort of income while I was unemployed.

For that I'm grateful. 🤍

I'm grateful that this initially short-term measure provided an opportunity for four members of staff to gain experience. That we've helped ex-colleagues build their business ventures by providing a regular source of work. Selfishly, I'm grateful that I've gained experience to help in my own pursuit of employment.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey - there are far too many to name individually but you know who you are! 🥰

About Us

With over four years experience as an in-house marketer for a range of businesses of varying sizes, Tianna Smith founded Social Nanny in 2020, following her redundancy due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the retail sector which she was working in at the time.

We have experience of a variety of companies and brands, ranging from launching new brands to developing new ideas within multinational companies. This has involved: social media management, including organically doubling existing social media followings to just under 1million followers, creating new social media platforms from scratch and growing these to around 37,000 followers; designing and implementing marketing strategies with a variety of available budgets, all focused on developing brands and targeted audiences to maximise revenue streams across the business.

Furthermore we have experience of organising a variety of events and collaborations with a range of third parties to develop brand identity and create brand exposure within a targeted audience. This diverse exposure ensures that we, at Social Nanny, can provide the highest quality of service to a broad range of clients across a breadth of industries.
