Well that’s me finished now for Christmas, done 2 today at the David Lewis Centre at Little Watford nr Chelford.
We had 2 great Christmas Parties for the Students which went down a treat.
So now finished until the 29th.
Just wanted to wish you all Very Merry and Happy Christmas and a huge Thank You to all customers, friends and associates, past, present and future.

For anyone looking to book a DJ please read the below before you do. I've wrote some tips and insights to make sure you don't get stung or let down.

1. Do your due diligence before agreeing to anything. Research the DJ or company you're booking with. There's a few bad eggs about and there's plenty of posts warning people about them in most groups. Check for recommendations, reviews or a credible venue they work. Search the djs name on Facebook, recent posts or a simple Google search.

2. Book direct with the DJ or Entertainment Company/ Credible Agencies.
There's plenty of so called "agents" who sit on Facebook all day and bid for every job posted with 0 intention of doing it themselves just so they can take a cut of the fee. You can spot these people a mile off. Just take a look at previous job posts and you'll see some of the same old people commenting check your inbox etc. These "agents" soon as they've made the initial contact with yourself take to Facebook asking if people can cover a certain job and most of the time offer a heavily reduced fee to a potential dj.

For example you speak to Joe Bloggs, he says oh I have someone available let me get back to you. Avoid these people, if they was credible they would be able to give you a dj there and then, a credible agent would have a diary with all their bookings and availability. They will bid either stupidly low prices to secure them the job but you'll find majority of the time they can't source a dj because nobody will work for that low of a fee or they'll bid 250-300 and 2 mins later they'll be posting on Facebook your job for a 140 quid and they'll be taking a 110 quid cut.

3. When booking get a confirmation of the booking, as well as a receipt for any deposits you've made. Pay your deposits securely either with PayPal goods and services or with a Mastercard.

I and many others have seen far too many posts of people being let down by certain djs or see customers posting and the same old "agents" if you could call them that bidding for every job posted just to take a drink or more off the dj and then post on Facebook. Simple thing is your paying for someone to post the same post you've just posted and the only person who gets hit is the client when the "agent" can't find anyone or just sends a random 50 quid sid.
Or the DJ who's unaware of the "agent" taking such a large cut.

Save yourself the hassle or the let down...do your research, book with the dj / Entertainment company direct. If they come back with let me speak to a few people first and I'll get back to you, give it a swerve!

Enjoyed the Congleton Rotary Firework display last night, the fire took a bit of time to get going but eventually it was off, superb fireworks from Star Fireworks, and great organisation skills from the Rotary members - huge well done to all.
I played to keep the crowd happy and tappy and hopefully succeeded with that, had the big RCF sub bass bins out and RCF 912 top cabs out to deliver a superb sound and even managed to leave another speaker system in the van (RCF Evox 12).
Also took the opertunity to get the lasers out of hibernation for a bit of effect in the smoke, good, cold, dry night was had by ALL hopefully.
And a huge thanks to my bestie Neil for his fantastic help.
Back to the central heating for now….

So my next thankyou goes out to Chris Booth, the most fantastic DJ with his endless pieces of equipment!!

When I first spoke to Chris about the ball, he immediately wanted to be involved and I immediately had a great connection with him.

He came to see the room with me before the event and it was absolutely no problem to him.

Fast forward to Saturday and he seriously got the dance floor buzzing with tunes that we forgot we knew and tunes that everyone wanted to party 🎉 to!

I cannot recommend this man enough for your next event. He will definitely do my next event…. Right Chris 👍🤣🤣😜

Had a great day today DJ’ing two summer balls , one morning, one afternoon for some handicapped students at the David Lewis Centre, nr Watford…..
They had voted for a “Barn-dance” theme, so cowboy hats and straw it was….yea-haw good fun and very rewarding to help out…….

Chris did our wedding the Sunday just passed and we couldn't have asked for a better dj, everybody was up dancing majority of the night, the only time they stopped was because they had to take a rest and cool down. Nothing was to much trouble for him. we 100% recommend. and again Thankyou Chris for an amazing night, we will not forget it!

Just had a great review from a client who had been let down by another DJ a few days before a 21st birthday party had been planned.
Please check reviews etc before booking DJ’s and remember the cheapest is not always the best investment and may always stray at the last minute for a few quid more. Please remember check reputation and not reviews from family and friends.
I was able and glad to help with this party, it was an absolute pleasure with a room full of polite young people who wanted to party and were dressed to the nines.
Congleton Cricket Club had been dressed and looked stunning, real good and created a fab atmosphere, and the rest was history.

Lovely Wedding Celebration last night at Astbury Village Hall for a great couple Julie & Keith Wain who I’m sure are the perfect match for one another and we wish them all the very best in their future as man and wife.
The village hall was dressed superbly by Kim Fenton from Astbury Floral (Glebe Farm) and it looked fantastic.
Mental Health with music tonight and then feet up…..

Rewarding event last night on Halloween Night down at Congleton Cricket Club, following a phone call from Councillor Rob Moreton who was putting an event on for Vunerable adults and Down Syndrome folks, how can you not offer your services. Ended up playing the full Christmas floorfillers on Halloween night but hey ho what’s wrong with that, we all need a bit of practice.
Hopefully this event is going to grow and plans are afoot to make it monthly, well done to Rob for putting this on and allowing me the privilege of taking part.
