It's been a while since there's been an update from Peacock Strut HQ! I'm very happy and grateful to say that it's been a very busy time.

Finally (fanfare please 🎺) I am pleased to announce the launch of my latest design project, an eCommerce website for The English Soap Company. This project took almost 4 months to complete but was an absolute joy, taking the bare bones of The English Soap Company's previous website and creating a brand new site which showcases their gorgeous products beautifully.

Extra special thanks to Michelle Ivy, graphic designer extraordinaire at The English Soap Company who provided me with gorgeous graphics to work with, and Dave Sayer at Foresite who supported with additional development and ensured I kept my sanity.

And to the entire The English Soap Company team, who were a dream to work with, and still are! I look forward to working on future projects together.

Creative social media marketing campaigns can be so much more than 'Like & Share' competitions.

Take Bark Box for example, a doggy toy and treat subscription service based in the US. Taking advantage of an obscure US holiday, Squirrel Appreciation Day, Bark Box's social media profiles spread the message they had been hijacked by some nut-loving furry fiends.

Bold and very tongue in cheek, thus campaign quickly gained traction online, boosting brand awareness in a new and fun way.

A new report by Sprout Social gives you the answers you need with handy charts detailing best days and times to post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, broken down by industry.

Key points about Facebook posts are:

• The best day and time to post to Facebook is Wednesday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• The optimum times to post are weekdays from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
• Sunday posts gain the least amount of engagement.
