The story follows Nora (Diane Keaton), Ginny (Kathy Bates), and Mary (Alfre Woodard) – three childhood best friends who used to spend every summer at a sleep away camp together. Years later, they jump at the chance to reunite for an unforgettable summer camp reunion. 🌲

🎬 Hollywood Reacts to Skydance-Paramount Deal 🤝

"David is as brilliant as they come as an executive but he’s no bean counter. He’s a creative first. He’s a fan, he’s an artist, and he’s a builder" David Ellison praised by Dean Devlin.

One of the biggest topics in Hollywood news is the news of Skydance's 8 billion dollar takeover of Paramount - one of the oldest and most successful motion picture studios.

Deadline article reports Devlin isn’t alone in his opinion, for earlier today future Paramount President Jeff Shell gushed about Ellison, exclaiming on the Skydance Paramount investor call, “It’s been a long time since a creative executive ran one of the big Hollywood companies, and I think it’s really important when creative is the core working with the artists of our business, to have someone like David running the business. If you want into a lab and designed the perfect executive for the next generation of Hollywood companies, it would literally spit out David Ellison because he can not only go to a table read, but he can go into the next room and code too.

GORGEOUS 🔥

We love this still of Hong Chau and Jesse Plemons from the upcoming movie "Kinds of Kindness," captured by the incredibly talented photographer, . The image not only teases the a gripping storyline but also highlights the artistry and vision of Atsushi Nishijima, whose lens has brought the characters and scenes to life in stunning detail.

Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things and The Favourite) the story follows three intertwined stories: a man fights to escape his predestined fate, a detective grows suspicious of his wife's behaviour following her miraculous survival from a near-drowning, and a woman embarks on a quest to find an exceptional individual foretold to become a celebrated spiritual leader.

Sony Pictures Entertainment Aquires Alamo Drafthouse Cinema 🎬

In a historic move, Sony Pictures Entertainment has purchased Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, marking the first time in over 75 years that a major Hollywood studio has owned a movie theater, with a few exceptions.

Kustermann will report to Ravi Ahuja, president and COO of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

“We are excited to make history with Sony Pictures Entertainment and have found the right home and partner for Alamo Drafthouse Cinema,” said Kustermann said in a statement. “We were created by film lovers for film lovers. We know how important this is to Sony, and it serves as further evidence of their commitment to the theatrical experience. Together we will continue to innovate and bring exciting new opportunities for our teammates and moviegoers alike.”

Adobe has launched a $6 million Diversity Film & TV Fund in the UK through a partnership with ScreenSkills. 👏👏👏

Deadline reports "Adobe has partnered with UK training body ScreenSkills on the extension of the fund and around $250,000 will be spent in the nation in 2024 and 2025, helping 350 people from disadvantaged backgrounds".

Joe Ablas quotes "We shot this in the height of summer here in Cape Town on the Nikon z7 with a ProFoto B1 kit in a wooded area close to Camps Bay. These projects are all about paying homage to the films we liked and having everyone collaborate on ideas and contributing skills in their particular departments. We even had a guy treat the Mercedes windows with an effect to look like rain in the dead of winter!"
