Comprising the versatile artists Tazro & Trance, Rebels break boundaries with their raw and powerful sound that pushes the boundaries of the Gospel genre. Their music boldly proclaims that the message of Jesus transcends all boundaries, all while staying true to their vibrant and youthful style.
In the summer of 2022, Rebels made their mark with the release of their debut single 'Eternal Cypher', a contagious rap anthem celebrating Jesus as the timeless King of all eras. Accompanied by a visually striking and energetic music video, the song quickly garnered over 14,000 streams within its first week of release. Following this success, the duo continued to impress with high-energy singles like 'The Way' and 'The Code', culminating in the launch of their debut EP 'Diplomatic Immunity'.
With roots in Zimbabwean heritage, Tazro and Trance draw inspiration from UK rap, grime, and US rap scenes. Having overcome a past marked by gang involvement, the duo now stand as influential figures within the global Christian youth community. Their paths converged at Spirit Embassy: The Good News Church, where the inevitable formation of Rebels took place.
