Hi I'm Buster!! I run the self-defence classes of safety space!!! 🙌

I'm an experienced martial arts instructor and use my knowledge to teach you guys easy to learn snippets of my Karate and K-1 experience adapted to be as effective as possible in a defensive situation!!

I've learned from many instructors, including Shihan Peter Wright, Shihan Simon Weaver, Sensei Bernard Mabey, Sensei Phil Mann (pictured), Darryl Bagley and Iain Abernethy (pictured) to bring you an easy to learn and simple (but very effective) style to defend yourself from any unsavoury situation!!

Welcome to Safety Space!! 🛡️ We are a new student-led self-defence class in Essex!!! 🎉

Here at Safety Space we believe everyone should have the right to feel safe and confident at all times!! 👊 As such, our classes are tailored around you! 🙌 We actively encourage questions in our classes and will work with you to get the most from your two-hour class! 🤩

We believe feeling secure is paramount so dates are not common knowledge! 🤐 If you want to join in, just send us a DM, WhatsApp us or email ahead and we'll get right back in touch to find the perfect class for you!! 👀
