What a beautiful car the 240Z is. Launched in the same year as the Ford Capri (1969) but featured independent rear suspension and optional 5 speed gearbox. And that straight six motor was something else. But what if you replaced it with modern EV mechanicals that allow effortless daily driving and access to any clean air zone (go easy on the burnouts though...)?

Instead it's a masterclass in modern EV upcycling. And there's plenty of details to win you over, including Drift mode.

The most extreme road car iteration of the brand new Mk2 restomod. With a 2.7-litre Millington Diamond n/a motor attached to a 6 speed sequrntial Tractive trans and Group 4 Atlas 6-linked axle with coilover turrets, there's £50,000 of drivetrain in this alone.

We like eclectic automotive machinery on this channel, and that's why we had to feature and his shed built Outlaw MBG.

Starting with a rubber bumper donor car for a few hundred quid, Mike trod his own path with custom hot rod, botanical (!) and drift touches, a budget drivetrain swap from a Jag 3.0 V6 S-type and a handful of experimental upcycling. The results had the Legends Tour judges transfixed.
