These fake accounts are contacting listeners with claims that they have won a prize. Radio Country UK and our sister stations would never ask for credit card details in order for a listener to participate in a competition or redeem a prize.
Please be vigilant to engaging with any such messages. We are working with Facebook to remove any profiles pretending to be our presenters to ensure that no further listeners are targeted.

Jason Bennett collapsed in tears as he laid flowers for his children John Paul, 13, and Lacey, 11, at the police cordon around the property in Chandos Crescent in Killamarsh, near Sheffield.
Derbyshire Police said their mother, 35-year-old Terri Harris, and Lacey’s friend Connie Gent, 11, were also found dead at the property on Sunday morning.
