Episode 177 is out now!
Sadly, Alex and james are still without Mrs AuDHD, but don't worry, it's still as chaotic as usual as we discuss ADHD and Processing Speed.
🚨 Episode 174 is OUT NOW! 🚨
This week on The ADHD Adults Podcast, we’re diving into ADHD and risk-taking behaviour. Yes, that’s right—why those of us with ADHD often think, “That looks dangerous, expensive, or illegal… let’s do it!” We explore why some ADHD adults can struggle balancing the risk and benefits of, let’s face it, doing some f**king stupid things, and why that often leads to some… questionable choices.
As usual, with the ‘science’ and personal reflections of the times we’ve pushed things a bit too far (spoiler: it’s a lot from Mrs AuDHD), and the type of awful, amateurishness seen in this clip 🧛🏻♂️🌪️❤️
Is it biology? Is it boredom? Is it just an excuse to tell embarrassing anecdotes? Find out as we attempt to make sense of all this with a mix of evidence and our usual nonsense. Listen now wherever you get your podcasts!
This week’s @theadhdadults podcast episode is about ‘positive illusory bias’.
Positive illusory bias refers to the cognitive tendency in individuals, particularly people with ADHD, to overestimate their abilities or performance, often perceiving themselves as more competent than they objectively are.
For me, it’s something that happens EVERY time I put together flat back furniture 🤦🏼♂️🧛🏻♂️

Episode 173 of the podcast is out now!
As usual, this clip has zero relevance to the episode’s topic (Positive Illusory Bias), but does demonstrate that we’re still as teliably shambolic as always… 🧛🏻♂️🌪️🎈
This week’s episode of the ADHD Adults podcast is on ADHD and eyesight, so here is @mrs_audhd_ wittering on about losing her prescription, having to buy 6 pairs of glasses at a time, entering the wrong prescription and hating getting her eyes tested…

In a continued effort to lose listeners, we bring you Episode 166, the second part of a triple fister on why ADHD develops. And it's not good...
The worst comeback since Guns N'Roses continues with Episode 164, where the topic of ADHD and social phobia (AKA social anxiety disorder, AKA James's life) is covered. As usual, Alex the Psycho.......education Monkey bores us with the evidence behind ADHD and social phobia, James steals most of Part 2 moaning about his issues with social phobia, and then we answer questions that have been sent in. 'What has James lost, forgotten or mislaid this week?" returns with James 14-7 up for the season, and Alex reads the usual 'definitely real' correspondence. James let's slip about dogging in Cannock Chase, Alex hasn't tested his captives for ADHD, and Mrs AuDHD sh*ts herself every time she leaves the house...
We’re excited to start our first Fantasy Football League (also known as ‘Fantasy forget I have a team and end up not changing any players after week 3).
At the end of the season the winner will get a trophy and some merch.
In order to join you need to do the following:
1. Register an account at https://fantasy.premierleague.com/
2. Choose your team (wisely, unlike James, whose team is always sh*te at the start of the season)
3. Join the league by going to https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/auto-join/ale4rj and the code to join the league is ‘ale4rj’
4. Sit back and watch James’s team crash and burn...
We also have a link in bio to join the league.
Good luck!
And we’re back!
Episode 163 of The World’s Worst Podcast™️ is now live, and in it, we talk about ADHD and Demand Avoidance, including PDA (or EDA as it’s also known), covering the evidence, our reflections, the usual games and letters and then answering g your questions in Part 3 as it means we don’t have to write anything for that section (lazy, lazy Script Guy).
It’s good to be back… not for you obviously, it’s a disaster 🧛🏻♂️🌪️🎈

Coming in just one week's time...... Prepare yourselves (if you can)... 🧛🌪🎈
It took us 6 hours to get to Margate. I was very excited! I’d never been to Margate! I’d bought tickets to see James’ favourite band Suede at Dreamland. We got into Dreamland and I was still very excited about being in Margate and being in Dreamland! I was loving watching the seagulls flying around and watching people and looking at signs and reading things. Lots of visual and auditory stimming going on. It was lovely! 🥰 It started getting busier and I was boiling and f**king knackered. We’d been there over an hour and I started feeling overwhelmed. More and more people were coming in and the thought of being there a second longer in that heat with that many people was making me panic so much. I sat on the floor and tried to regulate my breathing and overwhelm but I felt so sick and my vision and hearing started distorting the way they do when I’m about to shut down or meltdown. James noticed immediately and got me out of there and back to the apartment even though it was his favourite band and we’d spent 6 hours getting there. The queues as we were leaving were so long! I couldn’t imagine that many people fitting in the place! I was so glad I was out of there but felt so bad that I’d ruined the weekend and wasted all that time and money! James was lovely and reassured me, saying that he was struggling too. Sometimes I can cope in a crowd if I’m in a really good place but most times I can’t and I forget this every time we book to go to a gig. We have wasted so much money over the years because we book things that we were really excited to go to but when we get there we realise we just can’t do it and this is one of the things that really frustrates me about myself. I’m not consistent. Sometimes I can cope and it gives me false hope that I’ll be able to cope again and I completely forget all the times I couldn’t cope and wasn’t able to leave the house or had to leave before the event started.
Here is a sneak preview of what to expect when we return. The same, basically, expect the same…
The World’s Worst Podcast™️ returns on Monday 5th August so set your alarms to warn you not to listen 🧛🏻♂️🌪️🎈
