We need to reframe success So many people find themselves chasing this idea of success. Chasing this something and when it comes to it they say “what next” or “what now” and it never ends. Here are a few things we need to do to ensure we are checking in with ourselves and not chasing some version of success that we really never wanted: Ask yourself – is this actually my version of success? What does success mean to me? Being busy all the time does not equal success. Filling yourself up with things outside of yourself will not always mean success for you. Marketing is very clever. All marketing feeds you is the idea that you have to buy something to make you feel like you are a success. To make you happy. This is so you will buy their things. Always remember this. People all the time are making themselves broke trying to look rich to other people. Read the full article here - http://femalefounder.uk/2023/03/09/we-need-to-reframe-success-by-rebecca-lockwood/

Why change doesn’t always happen when you do personal development A lot of people do personal development and work on themselves. From having a morning routine, to reading, learning and growing. BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT DOESN’T WORK? What happens when you do not see the change you would like to see in yourself and you do not feel any better. Sometimes people do the work, they read new books, take courses and can become addicted to learning new things but nothing changes. Why is this? This can happen for a number of reasons… You are consuming information but not taking any action. The problem is that your subconscious mind has split and created a part. You have limiting beliefs deep-rooted. Read the full article here - http://femalefounder.uk/2023/03/10/why-change-doesnt-always-happen-when-you-do-personal-development-by-rebecca-lockwood/

How to get out of a FUNK What does FUNK mean? Funk means the feeling of not being resourceful, not feeling great and not feeling yourself, or perhaps you just have a really long day and you’re feeling knackered. This is where the 4-minute rule comes in. When you wake up in the morning feeling a bit meh, feeling a bit negative, you can ask yourself: “What would be the best version of me look like, act like, and feel like?” or “What the kindest version of me look like, act like, and feel like?” Sometimes we can be quite negative to ourselves without realising what we’re doing, which leads us feeling even worse. This is what you must do to change your mindset Do you feel that you have a negative mindset, dealing with negative self-talk or perhaps not feeling good at the moment in terms of the way you are talking to yourself? Feeling that way is not uncommon. In fact, it’s very normal, and despite everyone constantly talking about mindset, affirmations, mantras, favorite quotations to maintain a positive mindset, we still feel that way. So, how can you change your mindset? Be clear on what and how you actually want to change your mindset. Pick out some books or blogs that can support you with the specific thing that you wanted to change. Listen to audios and podcasts, listen or watch YouTube videos. Begin to validate yourself from within. Learn how you know that you have done a good job at something. Be curious in the way you think instead of judgemental. Be kind to yourself. The life-changing magic of putting yourself first – and how you can do it by Harriet Barcella We have been raised in a world where we are taught almost from birth to be that woman. The thing is, just because that’s how womanhood has been portrayed to us, doesn’t mean it’s how it has to be. A few years ago, I acknowledged to myself that I was too often that woman. I decided it was time to make a change. I started small. And gradually those small changes add up as I took a large step away playing the martyr. Now, don’t get me wrong, we are still human. We still have our moments, difficult days, squabbles, and frustrated bin emptying. Sometimes I slip back into being that woman. But overall, in all the ways that matter, putting myself first has changed my own life, and my family life for the better. And because of that, I want to share some of the things that helped me so that you can choose you too. We really soak up everything around us, all the information around us, all events that happen around us, the decisions other people make. We soak up everything that we see around us. Then from this, we create our belief systems and our values in life. Now people who may have seen more positive, and maybe surrounded by more optimistic people during that period of life, they quite likely to be more optimistic in the future, but that doesn’t just necessarily mean that everybody will be, and it doesn’t really mean that if you haven’t, you won’t be. It’s just more likely that you will be more optimistic. Now, let’s tap into this optimism, and talk about the action steps on how we can all be more optimistic. Acknowledge what is happening. Really tap into gratitude. Be intentional in what is coming. Trust that it’s coming. When we program ourselves with these things, our mind opens and sees all the possibilities and opportunities in order to support you to make this happen.
