My reaction to seeing the latest trend on Tik Tok

Parents are getting their children to “pretend to be blind”

THIS IS NOT OKAY, you wouldn’t ask them to pretend to have Down Syndrome or hop around on one leg and pretend to be an amputee

Children need to be taught it’s okay to be disabled, it’s okay to look different not taught to mimic them

Quite simply if you get your child to do this for traction on social media you are a c**t.

I was wrong. So, so wrong.

I once claimed Yorkshire puddings were overrated… even a waste of space on a roast dinner.

But today, I humbly bow before the golden, gravy-soaked greatness. Yorkshire puds aren’t just food — they’re a lifestyle. A higher calling. A crispy-edged, fluffy-centered religion.

To all those I’ve offended with my blasphemy: I see the error of my ways. May this towering tribute be my public forfeit and sincere apology.

It’s been a week of extreme highs and extreme lows for me

As someone who struggles to deal with his emotions Im not easy to live with during times like this, deserves a medal for not only supporting me but for also being an incredible Mum to our little monster who is also a handful at times!

7 years(ish) ago I sent a (pretty unprofessional) tweet to a community manager at about the lack of accessibility in the FIFA/FC series

And this year I can finally (kind of) announce that there is going to be additions to FCs accessibility, High Contrast Mode was showcased in today’s announcement trailer and I believe there is more to come in the future! A huge shoutout to Josh and for not only pushing for this over the last few years but for also putting up with me 🤣

Seeing accessibility features being added to FC is a huge milestone for me, it’s proof that no matter how “small” you may think your voice is you can honestly make a huge difference

(I can neither confirm nor deny tears where shed when I saw this announcement)

Without this game, without the people at EA giving me chance and listening to me I wouldn’t be where I am today! Honestly lost for words 7 years in the making

This picture just came up on my memories! It was 7 years ago to the day.

The photo was captioned “Going blind in style” with a smile on my face! 7 years later I now know how much of a cover up that smile was, I was sh****ng myself! I didn’t know what to expect and little did I know I wouldn’t be truly comfortable with myself and my disability for at least another 3/4 years! 7 years later and I still have usable vision, I still wobble and we still don’t know what the future holds for me in terms of my vision. But with Taz, my family and friends by my side I know it will all be okay no matter what!

Everyone’s sight loss journey is different and that’s okay, it might take you, 5 months, 5 years or 15 years to come to terms with what’s going on and that is okay ❤️💛🖤
