50 FREE DAYS AVAILABLE FOR ORIGINAL ARTISTS LOOKING FOR HELP GENERATING QUALITY ONLINE CONTENT.....
We all know the Arts have had it rough over the last few years... chronic under-funding, a worldwide pandemic and a global recession to boot, not to mention the continued erosion of the ability to earn a living from their craft online.
So, with 50 days of 2022 left we are pleased to announce that £15k of funding is now in place to offer 50 original Artists some much needed support and help in 2023.
We are looking for 50 original Artists, be it bands and singers, painters and novelists, actors or comedians, or any other form of the Arts to enjoy a free day of production at Safe Haven Studios in Lincolnshire.
Included in my definition of Artists is Crew. Lighting and Sound Engineers, Stage Managers, Drivers and Roadies, Managers and Promoters, all in my eyes are also Artists.
Without the Crew, The Artist is nothing, and we want to help tell the stories, share the experience, and help promote the Crew too.
This time can be spent however you wish, from production of video content, interviews/performance/adverts/show reels
to producing a Single or EP, or even just discuss modern marketing approaches. We are here to help in any way we can.
All rights are kept by the Artist, and content will be free to use however they wish.
All we ask is that we may also host the content on our website with a view to raising direct donations to assist further Artistic Support for others.
We are also hoping to slowly build a Community of Artists, Crew, Fans and other Creatives to help support each other and grow together whilst exploring ways for us all to profit from our work. With this in mind we are also pondering a monthly workshop covering aspects of music production, from tracking through editing and mixing. We would also be interested in working with other crew willing to offer time producing workshops to spread skills, after all, we are called Pass it on for a reason! It is hoped that these workshops will be filmed and made available on our website for all on a donation basis to help aid all creatives.
Included in this community, is obviously also the Fans. Those loyal followers that just want to be entertained and given the opportunity to support the Arts, and Artists directly. Without the fans, there really is no point at all. Over the first few months of 2023, as our website becomes live we hope to engage all fans of the arts by offering them quality content and access to emerging artists directly. All content will be offered for donation, or for free if you wish... As should always be the case, the Fans decide the value of the content.
