Can you help with the 2024 Christmas Charity Collection at Saltdean Lido? This year we are collecting for Ukraine, Brighton Homeless (YMCA & Antifreeze), and local Food banks.

We're looking for volunteers to...

1. Putting up printed posters to promote the event.

2. Receiving and sorting donations on Christmas morning at the Lido.

3. Storing donations for a few days before they are dropped to the charities.

4. Driving on Christmas Day (12-1pm) to drop donations to Saltdean Foodbank.

Newhaven Fort has announced Pilbeam Construction as the delivery partner for its £7.5 million restoration. The Fort is now closed to the public so that works can begin. As well as essential repairs and maintenance work to preserve the historic Sussex landmark, the restoration project will include new exhibitions, a redeveloped adventure playground and new access to gun emplacements
