Mary Fahl’s Changing Platforms episode has attracted many listens and some great reviews.

Here are a few:

“ Thank you so much for this interview!! I’ve been a massive fan of since the first time I heard “Bury My Lovely” all the way to “The Great Valerio.” Having had the enormously good fortune of seeing her live on numerous occasions, this conversation only solidifies my opinion that onstage Mary is a beautiful tempest and offstage a warm hug. Please have her back for more. “🤎🤎🤎 -

“This last episode is one of the top ones that I listened to on this platform.

Mary is a very humble, genuine, and fantastic storyteller!!! Her super strong and thoroughly discovered sixth sense is unbelievably exciting to listen to and learn from.

A great vocalist is always excellent to listen to, but adding that to an amazing thinker that takes you to places with their deep thought philosophy is another level. Mary Fahl is someone who ticked off the above remarks boldly for me.

Kindly forward my heartfelt appreciation for all the unreserved life lessons she shared with us and much more regard for her family-oriented natural way of life.

Many thanks, Alka, for bringing us such an enthralling guest.” - Minase Neg, Ethiopia

“Wonderful! Listening to Mary was inspiring. I loved that she mentioned the difficulties of men’s place in the world today! A subject of urgency. Thank you both.” fifitrixibelle100, UK

Last night, my dear friend, ( / ) Megan Houst passed away after a long and brave battle with cancer, it’s finally time for her to rest. Megan’s courageous spirit shone brightly, inspiring others even in the darkest times.

I had the honor of having Megan as a guest on Changing Platforms. We shared so many laughs, especially the time her dog Lucy wouldn’t stop licking her face as she tearfully shared her journey. I’m so pleased you got to meet Ed Sheeran and complete your bucket list, Megan.

Here are some of Megan’s words of wisdom that she shared with me during our interview:

“One word of wisdom I have is to live. People are scared to live, and I’m learning that you can’t be scared to live your life. You can’t be scared to go on that trip, to experience something new, or to do something you never thought you could do.

“The most important thing is that you want to do things, to live, to have those experiences. Make sure you get those because you don’t want to feel regret in the future. I don’t want anyone to feel regret.”

We’re getting some fabulous reviews of ( ) Jim Ebert - Cancer Can Rock ( ) episode:

“It was very special listening to your podcast with Jim Ebert. His life has been a lesson from the beginning up until now, surviving cancer and supporting those with similar incidents, especially those in the music world. An accomplished music producer enjoying his creative special world was faced with an unexpected health challenge and survived the struggle successfully. The incident was a reason to make a change of course in life in general and made him establish Cancer Can Rock to support musicians who are facing the same struggle. I have put his expression in my heart as inspiration and will share it with my peers: “You have to be ready when the time is right!”. This is a huge statement for everyone in any endeavor, and Jim’s life path proves it.
Thank you, Alka, for bringing this inspirational episode.” ~ Minase Neg, Ethiopia

“Great podcast! Rock n roll! Wine! Overcoming! And very inspirational!! I shared with many people, relatives, and friends. They will love it!! Please tell Jim, Thank you so much for agreeing to be interviewed!!” ~ Karen Stengel, MD, is a hospitalist and urgent care telemedicine pediatrician.

In this episode, ( ) Haley Dawn Roth unpacks essential teen coaching strategies. She addresses navigating change, handling social pressures, academic challenges, and personal development. Praised by Minase Negash in Ethiopia, her advice has been a beacon of practical tips and positive feedback for our audience:

“It was an awesome insight from your guest, Haley Dawn, on teens and their mental health. She has elaborated in detail on how to approach teens and support those who may need our help.

Definitely, every teen is special and needs a specific approach, but Haley has clearly put the attributes to consider when we communicate.

As she mentioned, we all passed through our teen years differently from our predecessors because what’s available in our time differs.

My time was different because tons of television productions were available, and a lifestyle of Westerners was overwhelming our attitude.

The current generation is being uniformly molded because of the digital phenomenon, and the emerging AI and its tools being availed in thousands will change the spectrum like never seen before. This will result in unexpected consequences, good or bad. The lesser teens’ exposure to physical connection, the more difficult it will be for everyone to handle their mental health status. I say more has to be done to encourage teens to go out of their screens and meet up real people in person and absorb priceless life experiences. This is a huge agenda, but thanks to Haley’s amazing presentation and your spot-on approach, we have learned a crucial lesson.

Thank you for bringing this very important timely information to us, Alka.”

We are getting some wonderful feedback on Freshta Karim of .library ‘s episode.

Thank you, , for listening and sharing your thoughts. I always feel nervous when I am interviewing young change makers and role models like Freshta, so your feedback gives me a lot of confidence.

“I just listened to Freshta Karim—what an amazing and inspirational young woman! And you are an amazing interviewer. Your questions are both probing and compassionate. I enjoyed it so much, thank you!” ~ Deborah Laggini (USA) Thank you.

Another review from Dr.Karen Stengel (USA) ~ Thank you.
“I shared this podcast with my daughter, whom I hope will send it to many of her friends. Freshta explains the situation so well, so honestly and candidly.
I admit, it is a difficult conversation to hear, but it is vital to our understanding of our sister’s plight in a difficult, tumultuous, and frustrating predicament! I am so glad to hear the message of hope and community. Thank you so much!!”

Another view from Minase Negash, Ethiopia ~ Thank you
“I just listened to Freshta Karim’s episode. Of all the points the two of you discussed, her insight into the children of Afghanistan being the most suppressed group is hugely frightening. It is also encouraging to know there are beacons of hope like Freshta who are fighting to enlighten the youth and encourage them to evolve from the darkness of their current reality on the ground. I can’t find the right amount of words to appreciate what Freshta and her colleagues are achieving in Afghanistan. Thank you for bringing us such an inspiring fighter, Alka.”
