Hi all it has been brought to my attention that some listeners may have for what ever reason thought Mari Buckley had been removed from BCR. This is simply untrue. Mari left of her own free will I only found out after she had left!
For the past 12 months i have suggested Mari slowed down and perhaps reduced her hours. Due to her job being a shift system she wasnt always able to do all her shows. This wasnt just BCR but the other two stations she presented for. Presenting four shows on BCR and a show on WBRCFM and Chorley hospital radio was simply yoo much. She was getting broken sleep and it was all having a direct affect on her health.
Just to repeat myself i knew nothing of Mari^s departure until after she had resigned. I have said to Mari I hope we can still be friends and maybe when we are next out and about she might like to join us.

I hope this sets the record straight as comments on other pages seem to suggest otherwise.
I would like to thank Mari for the time and shows she did for BCR and look forward to a catchup when we are out and about maybe do a co produced show.
