Quick update...
After a long wait spent getting things right at Ribble FM we are going to launch Ribble TV this year on the back of some huge developments on the radio front too. 2022 is the year for local media, communities around the country have become more dependent on hyperlocal news, as its more relevant and accurate and in context with local people.
MOJO - Mobile Journalism....
As a community project and and part of our "not for profit" organisation, we rely on volunteers, this is a key part of our key commitments and something which has brought huge success for presenters on Ribble FM, with volunteers being snapped up by the likes of the BBC, Sky, to name but two, so with regards to the TV channel the first things we are looking for are ENG's electronic news gatherers, local reporters with an eye for community stories, this can be part time, as and when, part of your hobby making videos and taking photos, and in exchange we will offer you a fabulous studio to work from, all the training you would need, from video composition to sound editing, article production and more.
You have a camera and mobile recording device in your hand, the humble smartphone is the ENG tool of the future, want to learn its capabilities ?
Do you want to be a part of your community media company ?
We are putting together three ENG kits for use in the field and are wanting to give these kits to suitable applicatnts who will form our news team for both Ribble TV and Ribble FM.
