Christmas 2024; completed it mate. To start off on a bit of a low note, I'll be honest, Christmas simply isn't the same since my mum has passed although it's been a few years, the absence of my mum seemed to hit even more.

But...to counteract that, seeing Amber improve her understanding of Christmas and get super excited about presents and Santa is heartwarming to say the least. Needless to say, Amber got absolutely spoilt (again) but it's great to see her happy.

As always, I got a few car related bits including a mug (been wanting that one for a while, even though I definitely don't need any more mugs 😅), some more products, some Sea Foam Deep Creep (boring, but useful) and the MX-5 hoodie that I've had my eyes on for ages as well as Clarkson's latest book.

Oh, and Christmas wouldn't be Christmas, without getting some Lynx 😅.

I hope you all had a great Christmas!

After the fun of filming the Suzuki Alto Works I unfortunately needed to do something that wasn't quite as thrilling. After inspecting in the workshop last week one of the technicians spotted the top boot of the nearside front droplink was split (see picture 3).

Seeing as it's an easy job to do and the part is inexpensive, I thought I'd just get it done before it becomes more of a problem. No video filmed as I actually filmed the replacement of the offside front a few years ago.

Hitting the right notes 🎶: Following on from the Suzuki Cappuccino last week today I filmed another 90s Kei Car. In some ways, the Alto Works is similar to its stablemate but in others it isn't. Bellowing to .jp it's fitted with a 657cc three-cylinder engine, but unlike the Cappuccino, it's single cam. Power is the same, though, at 64hp.

These are rare as it is, but what makes this version even rarer is that it's four wheel drive, believed to be just one of three in the country. Massive thanks to Luke for letting me film the car, the video will come....at some point.

Small Cappuccino to go, please: Today I was grateful to have the chance to drive the small but perfectly formed Suzuki Cappuccino. It may be turbocharged, but even so, the 657cc engine produces just 64hp (although this example has gained a horse). Having said that, it's definitely more peppy than the power figure would lead you to believe. Mind you, it only weighs 725kg, so that is going to help of course!

BIG THANKS to George the owner for letting me have a very smile-inducing drive in his little roadster, be sure to follow him on . Video will come once I've got through all my Nurburgring content 👌🏽.

It's been a while since a car spot. I walked a different way to work the other day and I spotted this Austin A40. From a distance (I think this was taken on 5x zoom from memory) it looks to be fairly tidy, and who knows, I might still be in use. Although it's exempt from an MOT it's not had once since 2017. Mind you it passes then with no advisories.

Here are some arrival photos from the recent(ish) *pfest2024 - which car would you take home? I'm really drawn towards the FD RX-7 🤤. Just look at it, such stunning design, I love the lines on it 😍. Oh, when is the video coming from the event?! Should be next week; I should have produced it sooner but I'll be completely honest, I forgot I filmed content from the day 🙈.

More *pfest goodness! This certainly caught my eye when it came as I couldn't believe what I was seeing! This is a Honda S800 Coupe from the swinging sixties which features a four cylinder petrol that revs all the way to 9,500rpm and was the first Honda car that could achieve 100mph. I think this is a great looking car and I'm grateful to see on in the metal. Any guesses to what this car's predecessor was? 😉.

No, your eyes do not deceive you, this really is an MG! More specifically, this is the new Cyberster, which is an all-electric roadster which has a starting price just shy of £55,000. Depending on which trim level you go for it'll offer 340hp (single motor) or 503hp (dual motor). I had the opportunity to drive the latter last month, the video is now live on the YouTube channel.

Wish upon a star-let: Another *pfest picture; this one was taken towards the end and this Starlet GT Turbo was all by itself. This is the fourth generation Starlet, of course in GT Turbo form otherwise known as the . Powered by a 1.3 litre petrol aided by a CT9 turbocharger offering 135hp which is a fair amount in a car that weighs less than 900kg. Like the Suzuki Alto Works I posted yesterday I bet this is a hoot to drive, and another car I'd love to get featured on the channel. Know the owner? Tag them please.

It's in the works. Another series of photos from *pfest, this time it's the small but perfectly formed Suzuki Alto Works..I'll be honest, I know little about this car but I know it's kei car, meaning it's lightweight and features a 660cc engine. The internet would lead me to believe this has 64hp which isn't a lot, but you don't need lots of power to have fun! I think these look really cool and I'd love to have one featured on the channels so hit me up .jp 🤙🏽.

I put these head-to-head today in a video that will come soon...ish. My go-to wheel cleaner is Auto Wheels but for quite some time I've been wanting to put it up against Hjul from . It was a pretty close run competition but you need to wait for the video for the outcome 😜.

One small Cappuccino to go please: Another photo from *pfest, this time it's the Suzuki Cappuccino belonging to . I spoke to George and learned a bit more about the car - I'm hoping to get the car featured on the channel, watch this space.

Some more pics from *pfest - which is your favourite? I love how moody the looks, I work with someone who used to own one but sadly never got around to filming it. Also, what's better than a ? 4, of course! (There was actually a fifth one as well!). I've got plenty more photos so be sure to look out for them!

Here are some more of the photos taken by the awesome photographers at the Nurburgring. I can't emphasis how much I love these photos especially the first, which perfectly the captures the joy of taking around the Ring. Worthy of being framed? Hell yeah, or should I say Green Hell yeah?

So much to see! Today I attended *pfest with and . Thankfully it was held at so I didn't have far to go. I knew I had taken a few photos but I was surprised when I discovered I had actually taken 233! Trying to narrow them down to 10 for this post was very tricky!

No doubt I'll be posting more in days to come but I hope you enjor this first batch, I'm impressed at how well these came out. For you shutterbugs out there these were taken on a Canon 90D with a 17-55mm 2.8 lens and a K&F Concept Nano X CPL and ND combination filter. They were then edited in Adobe Lightroom 👌🏽. Which is your favourite? Let me know.

Wow. What a weekend. Having just woken up since coming back to the UK I genuinely had to check my phone for photos to make sure it wasn't just an incredible dream. Yes, that sounds very soppy but the experience almost felt top good to be true.

It was my first time at the Ring and it definitely didn't disappoint. There's SO much epic machinery on show and it's a complete attack on the senses but in a good way. Big shout-out to and for being my unofficial tour guides and sharing a wicked time with me.

I was hoping to hook up with but sadly it was meant to be. There were a few track closures on Saturday (several people went off that day) which made it difficult to get a window where Misha was free but it is what is, I'm not too disappointed as I know how busy and in demand Misha is, so I'm just grateful he responded to me in the first place.

As you can imagine, I captured a lot of content whilst I was there, which will come to your screens soon...ish.

Nurburgring? Completed it mate 😅.
