🎭 RETURNING ONLINE 🎭

Thanks to popular demand, the acclaimed digital revival of Scaramouche Jones or The Seven White Masks will be returning to streaming for two weeks from 3-16 May 2021.

The one-man drama stars Shane Richie (EastEnders, I’m A Celebrity) in his first foray into digital theatre, as Scaramouche Jones, a clown unmasked.

Filmed in a London Theatre, the Justin Butcher written piece was directed by Olivier Award-nominee Ian Talbot (The Pirates of Penzance, Regents Park Open Air Theatre; The Mousetrap, West End).

Thomas Hopkins and Michael Quinn of Ginger Quiff Media, who co-produced the production with Amy Hart, Guy Chapman, Bailey Harris-Kelly, and Stream.Theatre, said: “The response to the production has been overwhelming, and we’re thrilled to see the well-deserved recognition for both Justin Butcher’s writing, and Shane Richie’s phenomenal performance. We’re excited to bring the revival back for On Demand streaming to give audiences the chance to see Scaramouche Jones in action once again.”

🎭 MARKING HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY 🎭

Following successful streamed runs during previous lockdowns, Martin Sherman’s Rose, starring Dame Maureen Lipman, will be free to watch on Freeview channel Sky Arts on 27 January at 10pm. It will also return online, made available via BroadwayHD.

This thought-provoking production from Ginger Quiff Media is being released to mark Holocaust Memorial Day and acts as a moving reminder of the harrowing events that shaped the century.

Directed by Scott Le Crass in collaboration with Sherman, this powerful one-women show is sadly still relevant today due to continued racial tensions and allegations of anti-semitism. This portrait of a feisty Jewish woman traces Rose’s story from the devastation of Nazi-ruled Europe to conquering the American dream by blending the personal with the political. The Daily Mail stated that in this production Lipman gives the “best performance of her career”.

Thomas Hopkins of Ginger Quiff Media said": “We are thrilled to bring Rose back, fittingly on Holocaust Memorial Day, which serves as a timely reminder of the plight of a generation. Maureen Lipman embodies the story, and we can’t wait for a wider audience to experience this ‘tour de force’ performance on both Sky Arts and BroadwayHD”.

🎭 STREAMED PRODUCTIONS 🎭

Thomas Hopkins and Michael Quinn of Ginger Quiff Media have today announced that they will be bringing three new productions to BroadwayHD, Broadway on Demand and Stream.Theatre. The pair currently have We Need A Little Christmas running on Stream.Theatre and are committed to ensuring that we get our cultural fix online.

Just in time for Christmas, they will be reviving their phenomenally successful digital production of Godspell’s 50th Anniversary Concert starring Ruthie Henshall, with the amazing all-star production of Little Wars starring Juliet Stevenson, and Falling Stars with Peter Polycarpou and Sally Ann Triplett streaming in February.

Godspell will be available on BroadwayHD, with Falling Stars available on Stream.Theatre and Broadway on Demand along with Little Wars.

Thomas Hopkins said: ‘It’s an incredibly tough time for the industry, which once again finds itself in a state of limbo. We must continue to be resilient in the face of adversity, finding new ways to let quality entertainment and talent continue to thrive. Theatre is the perfect form of escapism and we’re thrilled to be able to contribute to this in some way with these amazing digital performances which will now reach a wider audience, both in the UK and internationally.”
