Let's talk about Imposter Syndrome... 👀

Have you ever felt like you're not good enough, despite knowing deep down that you're truly exceptional at what you do? 💭 Imposter syndrome is something that's hung over me ever since I set up my business, but how do I stop it from holding me back? 💭

As a passionate professional in the automotive and motorsport industry, I've had the privilege of working with some of the UKs leading clients! From race events to groundbreaking marketing campaigns, I've poured my heart and soul into every project, striving for excellence every step of the way.

Yet, despite my accomplishments and expertise, imposter syndrome has often crept in, whispering doubts and insecurities into my mind. It's that nagging voice that questions whether I truly deserve my success, whether I'm capable of meeting expectations, whether I belong in this competitive industry...

But here's the thing - imposter syndrome doesn't define me! It's a challenge I've learnt to confront head on, turning self-doubt into self-awareness and self-compassion. Instead of letting it hold me back, I've used it as fuel to push myself further, to strive for continuous growth and improvement.

Through it all, I've come to realise that imposter syndrome is a common experience shared by many high-achieving individuals. It's a sign that we deeply care about our work, that we have high standards for ourselves, and that we're constantly pushing the boundaries of our potential.

So, if you've ever felt like an imposter in your own success, know that you're not alone. Remember to celebrate your achievements, acknowledge your strengths, and embrace the journey - imposter syndrome and all! 👀

I’m Charl, and I’ve been running my own business as a freelance marketing and motorsport manager since December 2020!

Having spent the last 3+ years gaining experience across various sectors of marketing, it’s safe to say that I’m pretty good all round when it comes to anything marketing wise!😏 I LOVE social media, and have previously done work as a micro-influencer, and brand ambassador for different brands, so I understand things from a business, influencer, and customer point of view!

I wanted to incorporate my love of anything with an engine into my work, and therefore decided to specialise within the automotive and motorsport industry, which is funny, because that’s where the majority of my clients seem to be anyway… it’s like it was meant to be!👀
