#️⃣ - Hashtags are useful as people use these to find places, products & services they would like to use! Ideally you want to use 5-7 specific hashtags to your post for example your location, type of service / product, business slogan etc.

9️⃣ - Your top 9 posts represent your brand & business. They’re the first impression someone gets when finding your Instagram page. Always have these as the most informative & explanatory posts about your brand, business & ethos! The 📌 feature is fantastic for enhancing older posts with high engagement & key info.

✨ - Branding is essential. It’s a fact that we pay more for well branded products. Sainsburys Mayo vs Heinz Mayo if you know what I’m saying. Choose Fonts & Colours that portray your brand & always stick to these! Also always use your Logo as its vital in spreading brand awareness. Check out my branding post pinned to my page!

🔗 - Links are a great way to get engagement on products / websites. I love Linktree & highly recommend for use in your Bio! Also the link feature in stories when referring to a specific product or service. Always add your website or alternative relevant links at the bottom of your post (great if the post is shared).

📲 - Engagement is a fantastic way to boost your Instagram presence, and we all know how hard it can be with Instagrams algorithms & forever changing narratives! Reels are a great way to reach new audiences as well as Polls, Questions, Lives, Quizzes, Links & Countdowns being key to success for new and old followers, don’t forget to reply to comments on your post too!

🫵 - You!! You most of all are the biggest advocate of your business so aside from all of the above remember to be YOU as you are your business! Engage on your business platforms & an introduction post is a great way to get people to understand your why & human connection makes people invest more!

A made a huge boo-boo 😭

Wherever you are in your business journey it’s natural and okay to make mistakes… but I made a huge one 🤦‍♀️

I hope this makes you check yours or action it!

I didn’t trademark my business name therefore another business who had the second half of my business name as theirs, trademarked their name therefore I was forced to rebrand & rename mine.

We are opposite ends of the country and have different businesses but this made no difference 😣.

So if you haven’t thought about it, do it!

Today is , when people worldwide wear purple to raise awareness about epilepsy. 💜
