Amongst our range of DVDs are a number of cab ride titles from Train Crazy including a series of 4 featuring class 37 diesel locomotive 37418. The vast range of DVDs available includes this 37418 CAB RIDE PART 2 - ELY TO YARMOUTH / YARMOUTH TO STOWMARKET

2nd of 4 Train Crazy productions in co-operation with Videoscene and with the full assistance of Loram Rail Operations in which a cab ride is taken on board to class 37 diesel locomotive 37418 named “An Comunn Gaidhealach” in large logo livery which is on hire to Loram Rail Operations. The locomotive over the days of 12th and 13th May 2023 worked a massive out and back journey from Derby, running a whopping 600 plus miles and reaching the Eastern and Southern regions. This second DVD in the series of 4 features the journey from Ely to Yarmouth via Norwich and Reedham and also from Yarmouth to Stowmarket via Acle and Great Eastern Main Line. At Ely, the plan was to use the station avoider but due to a track defect, we had to run round instead. We then head east across the fens towards Norwich. It's quite a slow run, for a loco hauled train and at Norwich we avoid the station, taking the Wensun curve and on to Great Yarmouth, via Reedham and the lesser-used and remote Berney Arms. 37s hauling lots of coaches were once common at Yarmouth, as the train is propelled into the former carriage sidings, now of course the home of Eastern Rail Services - the new owner of these coaches. From Yarmouth, it's light engine back, but over the other route via Acle, to Wensun and the GEML to Stowmarket.
