I hesitated to post this, but these photos speak volumes. They show the complete lack of respect for what was once a beacon of Plymouth and one of the largest nightclubs in the Southwest. It's heartbreaking to see the state of this iconic venue.

I urge Manoucher—please consider selling it to the council or to someone with the resources to restore it. Heck, even Chris Dawson could bring this gem back to life. Right now, it's at serious risk of being lost forever, and it's in a very sorry state.

Please, share this far and wide. Let’s rally together to save this place before it’s gone for good.

Tonedale Mill , return visit 1/9/24.
A lot of damage has been done by tosspots , windows smashed , fires and just generally trashed. Some of the roofs have collapsed , nice chilled explore , be careful if you do go , there are some very rotten floors.

The Silverton Paper Mill has a long and interesting history dating back to the 16th century. It was originally built as a fulling mill, but was burnt down around 1740 and rebuilt in the 1760s as a paper mill. The mill continued to operate until it closed in 1999. In 2018, the site was remediated and transformed into a wildlife habitat.

The Silverton Paper Mill is an important part of the history of Devon, and its remediation project is a testament to the commitment of DS Smith to environmental sustainability.
