As we reach the end of an amazing year at Truelove Music, it was fantastic to be able to get the team together to celebrate with Music Publishers Association (UK) at their Christmas lunch last week in London. We love music and to see writers honoured whilst also championing all of our own amazing roster at this Bond themed event was the perfect close to 2024. We are wishing all of our artists, producers, composers and industry colleagues an amazing festive season and are looking forward to 2025 with you all.

October 1st always marks the beginning of the end of the Ibiza season and is a chance to reflect on all the amazing moments of the summer. This is one of our proudest - seeing the new iteration of Jason Sealee’s timeless classic “Finally” being performed by and on the iconic stage and then seeing it climb the UK charts throughout September as well as make waves around the world with legions of fans who adore this song as much as we do. As we move into the winter months here are a few videos to remind you of these wonderful moments for this beautiful song.

Today marks the start of the Brighton Music Conference. Truelove Music CEO John Truelove is heading to the UK’s south coast and will be participating in the PRS panel discussion: Earning a Living from Electronic Music.

John joins several esteemed colleagues from across the industry to give pointers as well as assess the pitfalls of operating as a creator in today’s electronic music industry. With the cost of living at an all time high and with electronic music being at the heart of modern culture, it has never been more important to understand how to to protect your rights and to monetize your passion and hard work both in the short and long term.

Please come and join the conversation in Theatre 3 at the i360. The panel starts at 12pm. We are looking forward to seeing our many existing clients who are attending and to meeting new faces - do come and say hi!

Earlier this month Rejected welcomed Greek DJ/Producer and our writer Stelios Vassiloudis to the family with his superb label debut. 'Ricochet'.

Made on the move, as he trekked back and forth between Europe and South East Asia, both tracks share a sense of raw dynamism that is reflective of the touring and immediacy of Stelios' mobile production setup. Less is more as they say, and this is never more pertinent than in the creation and sound of both 'Keluar' and 'Thick And Thin'.

Keluar, or 'Get Out' in Malay, forcefully issues its order via its thumping kick and rubbery bassline. Spring-loaded percussion snaps and fires as Stelios ushers in waves of synth and wails of vocal, before hurling us back into its heads-down groove.

On the flip (in the video), 'Thick And Thin' teases us. Living up to its name via its stocky, thundering opening before blooming via its rippling atmospherics and chopped vocal, to become a beautiful deep house tool.
