My zine 'Dedicated Follower' has done a few popular one off issues in recent years but we were not expecting such a fantastic response to the last Mod Revival & Quadrophenia anniversary issue released in November 2019. It was somewhat overwhelming with many people asking for it to come back on a regular basis like the old days (When we even featured in a V & A exhibition)
It would appear not everybody wants to live on a phone or computer and appreciate a paper zine as it's cool and physical culture is part of any stylish Mods lifestyle.
So we have relented and there will be at least 4-5 issues in 2020 starting with this latest one which is packed with goodies. BIG NEWS today!. Despite my reluctance & resistance at wanting to do Dedicated Follower on a permanent basis and just doing one offs now and again I have relented to and agree to go back to what I did at its inception and do a quarterly. So what has changed? Lot's of great feedback from new and old Mods on recent issues..I was also at the Victoria & Albert Mary Quant exhibition and the V & A own all my back issues after using them in a youth culture exhibition.and said its still influential and I should relaunch it as there is nothing quite like it. It straddles The Mod Revival and the swinging sixties and the current scene but also features interesting thought provoking articles. I love writing but I'm dyslexic making it 5 times more work and I'm a multi platform artist and have limited time and thats why I didn't want to do it again but I got a new Mod talent who wants to help out so I have have changed my mind as that factor makes it doable. Also If you read my main timeline you will see I'm talking about Censorship and FB banned my last issue (So you will find link to get it doesn't work as they block it) being a natural born rebel just added to me wanting to do more. The new issue will be out next month and attached a prototype sleeve although the proper one will be different but it will feature Mary Quant. (Ignore the content as it's a mock) The real content is under wraps at the moment but rest assured it will be very interesting. .

Dedicated Follower used to be a leading Modzine and was even featured in the Victoria & Albert Museum as a testament to Mod culture. A few anniversary issues released in recent years proved popular.
