Ok, I've decided I will do another Sick Beatz radio fundraver this year. It's an event that has been annual since 2017 (radio since 2018). If you're a Techno DJ and want to play dm me. Last year we raised £781 and will aim for over £1000 this year. It will be the last 3 Sundays of November. As always raising money for MS Society which as people are aware is close to my heart for personal reasons. It will as always be in memory of Wayeta. I'm looking for over 50 DJs to be involved again. If I get more DJs this can easily expand (quite substantially) to more airtime.

I memory of DJ Spliffy B late wife, Wayeta; Sick Beatz MS Society Fundraver events have now raised £701. It was an event Wayeta co promoted for the last few years of her life. There has been another pledge that would make it up to £751. If you would like to donate and get it over £800 then the link is below. We have smashed what I could ever imagine especially with cost of living skyrocketing. So many amazing DJs, promoters, ravers making it such a success this year. The Just Giving page is active until January. I wouldn't expect it to go up much more as people have Christmas commitments, but please still share it everywhere. Every little counts, even £5.

Hi my names Ian I’m a mid 40s male who currently lives in Gloucester. I Dj under the name of ianE or ianE Reprobate. I Dj & also produce, I am Co owner & part of a Soundsystem called Reprobate. We have been putting on party’s for coming up to 9 years now. We have done nights in clubs & festivals but mostly free party’s- that’s where our heart is.
I started going to raves in 91/92 when I was still at school, but after a night at the Eclipse in Coventry I was in love with the music, the atmosphere, the energy & the lovely vibes. I’ve never looked back.
I first got involved with the Acid Assault crew in April 2020 during Covid and have had a set on almost every month since (this month l, June 22, my decks are being fixed) As I said I started during Covid which was really good for me & got me through a very difficult time for everyone. I’m really thankful to Andy, Jason & Seonaid for getting me involved & letting me get stuck in. I also have played other sets for Andy & Jason on Mixhitradio like Spliffy Bs Rebellion Techno & Sick Beats. I really enjoy the Sunday takeover on Mixhitradio by Acid Assault as I get to hear some amazing acid techno, house, trance etc. There is quite a few DJs involved in Acid Assault- we all have the same taste in music & all have a good laugh & banter in the chat room & messenger, so I look forward to the Acid Assault Sundays.
I also have a weekly residency on the Spanish station DMT-FM every Saturday morning 00.00am till 01.00am it is a 24/7 trance station, but I’m get to play techno & house as well as psy trance. I have DJ’d on other stations such as Bristol community fm 93.2 & safehouse radio & at many clubs, partys & festivals in UK & Wales. I love all genres of dance music but I play 4x4 techno, trance & house. I’ve put my soundcloud & mixcloud link below where you can find all my previous acid assault & Mixhitradio sets. Our next DJ Focus is T.o.M.:

T.o.M. Has been passionate about techno music for many years now. It all started back in high school in the late 90s, listening to Steam, DeathRow Techno, North and Helter Skelter tape packs. Hearing the atmospheres translated through the sound into energy, and wanting to be a part of it. He also enjoyed the warm sound of the vinyl DJs recorded onto tape, and it has also given him a wide range of genres that he enjoys, such as techno, hardcore, Drum and bass, Acid and Hard trance.

After leaving school and experiencing some festivals including Glastonbury, Creamfields and Global Gathering, he quickly found himself in the North Wales techno scene, which was rife at the time. Regularly attending venues like the Orange Peel, Hendre Hall and free party's across the land.

Since then he has been involved in Tek Connektion, Renegade Sounds, Sound Ammunition, Filth Factory and the Welsh Connektion. He has collaborated with artists like Fil Devious, The Badger, Gav Feedback, A.P. & Josh Inc. and the labels he has featured on are Impact UK, Skuxx, Audio Eargasm and Hypnotek 909.

Along side his close friend Fil Devious, the pair are launching their Direct Waveform brand. Starting off with co hosting a regular slot on the Fnoob techno radio. The pair hope to progress this brand into the future with the possibilities of a record label, clothing and events.

Expect a mixture of 303s, Dark, hard and industrial sounds in his sets, with an expert flow of energy.

Rebellion Techno DJ Focus: Stuart Macinnes

As a self-taught DJ, Stuart Macinnes has been playing DJ sets for approximately 6 years. After volunteering for an opportunity to perform a livestream for Dirtyasfunk, Stuart was snapped up as one of their resident DJs. He regularly features in their lineups both in person and online and has secured a monthly slot on their session worldwide shows and appearing in various guest mixes.
Stuart can often be found both helping to organise and headlining live sets in Beinn Bhreagh bar in his local town of Fort William, Scotland. While his favourite style of music is techno, Stuart also plays hardcore, breaks and house and is renowned for taking his listeners on a journey through various genres.
