And that’s a wrap on 2024. Just want to take a moment to thank everyone I’ve done work for this year for the support and letting me help your projects come to life. Still in the early days of this really, but enjoying it more than ever and crazy the people I’ve had in this small studio room this year!

Back in early January where we’ll do it all again, and even more podcasts starting in 2025.

Day 11 of 2024 memories: So the penultimate memory. Probably my favourite episode of The Football Journals from this year is when Lee spoke to former Huntly striker Martin Stewart. Over 400 goals for Huntly, a key figure in the 5 in a row highland league winning side and Scottish cup golden boot winner.

I recently read Steve Paterson’s book and in the book he speaks absolutely glowingly of Martin’s ability. Saying Martin could have easily played at the top of Scottish football and tried to sign him for his Inverness Caley Thistle side, but Martin had no interest in leaving his home town club of Huntly. Incredible loyalty and rare to see a one club man, especially with the ability he possessed as a player. Was a great episode to record!

2024 memories day 10: nearly at the end, so I had to fit this one in! When Lee from The Football Journals had a chat with Ian Molby Murray. Must’ve watched this clip back like 30 times 😂. The funniest podcast I’ve recorded this year for sure!

2024 memories day 9: So I’m involved with the new welfare team FC Bishopmill. Made this video on the club’s first game, was also first time out in the field for the cinema camera. Turned out pretty spot on. More to come soon! 😎

Day 7 of 2024 memories: Back in June Lee from The Football Journals podcast welcomed former Elgin City manager and player John Teasdale in for a chat. To talk about his incredible career as a player in the professional game and of course the infamous 1992/1993 Highland league season.

Day 6: So another memroable moment this year has to be when Dominic from The Art Of The Art of Casual Conversation Podcast had one of the most decorated International Football Managers Stephen Constantine on. Dom's always got mega guests on, actually blows my mind who he manages to get haha!

Day 5: So over the summer I recorded an audiobook for author A.L Kennedy for her book "On Bullfighting". Unique project which I thproughly enjoyed being a part of, the released audiobook is now available for purchase from Spiracle Audiobooks. Sounds fantastic too!

Day 4: So on one of the many Football Journals episodes I've produced this year, Lee has had some incredibly big names in the studio. Probably none bigger than on of the greatest football players and managers Moray has ever produced, Steve "Pele" Paterson.

Went and read Steve's book after Lee had him on, was an incredible story, career and read! Also a very nice man from meeting him a couple months ago.
