Have some cold ones with Cold Carl 🍺🎧

We first met Carl aka Birdy by chance when Oli took part in his research project about people’s listening habits.

Soon after, he became a founding member of Brudenell Groove, witnessing its early days as a measly Facebook group of three or four music fanatics.

Since then, he’s been honing his production, and now releases Collective Effervescence on RLO - four rolling house bangers with plenty of groove and soul ❤️

They’ll have booties shaking and hands wafting from Scunthorpe to New Zealand and beyond 🇳🇿

We’re excited to be returning to House House Gallery to screen three inspiring documentaries from films - all in aid of MAP Charity.

🎬 What is Cultures of Resistance Films?

Cultures of Resistance Films create and distribute films that advance public awareness of social-economic justice and showcase creative efforts to promote peace and protect human rights.

Founded by Brazilian director , they have released 8 full length documentaries, 4 medium length documentaries and many many more short films.

🪩 Music fans may have seen her film “Modulations”, which is a beautiful and impressionistic discourse on rave culture 🪩

They operate within the Cultures of Resistance Network, which promotes and supports organizations, activists, and artists who seek a more peaceful, just, and democratic world.

Impromptu party alert! At long last, we present 🔊

The New Delhi producer and trance-inducer has been releasing rippers for years now. He sat alongside Diastema on our debut vinyl release earlier this year, and has also put out music with Radiant Love, Qilla and Krunk Kulture.

You'll also find him promoting his fellow Asian producers (and often the inimitable sound of Goa trance) on his NAACH show for NARR Radio in Leeds.
