Mixed views on this one. E2EE is important and everyone has a right to security and privacy. However, the outcome of this is savage and takes away a level of monitoring.
1) More account verification required. I shouldn’t be able to create a random account, under a false name and initiate dialogue with anyone.
2) Parents play a key role in keeping their children safe online. Under 18 accounts should be linked to a parent account where usage can be monitored.
These social media powerhouses need to be held responsible but targeting security and encryption methods is not the right direction.
