Happy New Year everyone! Starting to think about work after a lovely break and I'm raring to get going on what I'm not going to be doing in 2024.
Yup, I won't be smashing it 🙄, I won't be working hard and playing harder 🙄🙄, I won't be getting up at silly o'clock to get cracking (because I love my bed too much), so, all in all, I'll just be getting on with what I always do.
That's working hard for my clients, hopefully having lots of laughs along the way, being a nice person (it's over-rated for a lot of people), going on holiday, running and sharing pictures of Paddy 🐶, oh, and I might start eating more apples this year, I need to up my game in the fruit department.
Good luck to everyone with their New Year resolutions though, you have my full support. 💪😂

Another day, another brilliant north east event! 💪
Thanks to the North East Automotive Alliance for organising a great expo at the Beacon of Light Sunderland, lovely to catch up with all the exhibitors and fellow delegates.
Representing Hydraulic & Offshore Supplies, it was great to have three Meet the Buyer meetings too, always good to showcase the range of products and services HOS offer and hopefully become a valuable member of their supply chain.

I've been working recently on getting together a range of video reviews for my client, Compliant Ltd, alongside the brilliant Lee Axon.
We recently visited north east business, Armah Switchgear and spoke to their QA representative, Paul Croft. Now, Paul's not used to speaking to camera so this was totally out of his comfort zone (as it is for many to be fair!).
After many bloopers (not just by Paul by the way, I had a few too), Lee worked his magic and we got a fabulous finished video, the bloopers seem to have made more of a hit though!

Another great issue of Northern Insight Magazine this month with the added bonus of seeing my fabulous client, Hydraulic and Offshore Supplies sharing their recent good news.
The company, which have been based in Sunderland for over 30 years, have passed a nationally recognised safety scheme with zero non-conformities.
I know I'm biased (I worked here for many years 😊) but it really is another example of a fantastic north east business providing first-class service and boosting the local economy, I'm super lucky to work with them.

As I (eventually) sign off and down tools before Christmas, a big Merry Christmas to all of my clients, colleagues and friends who have supported me and my business this year.
