David and I spent a lovely day exploring this scottish castle and grounds a couple of weeks ago

We loved it but it wasnt the best one we have been too😃

There was a lot of happy Amercians exploring the grounds which made me happy to see them so intigued in scottish history💜

The grounds are lovely
There is a cafe and a shop
There is also a second hand book shop
Good toilet facilities

The best thing about going is the views over looking the Isle of Arran🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌏💙

On driving into the grounds, the whole place takes your breath away. The scenery the grounds the buildings are so beautiful to look at😀

Upon entering the main entrance I was taken away by its spectacular reception area, I just stood and took it all in for a minute❤️

We decided to go for a coffee in the restaurant, the staff are exceptional, friendly and caring.
Equally as breathtaking the surroundings are so tranquil and peaceful with a delightful selection of sweet treats you cannot help be choose one🍰

We then went for a short walk around the gardens where we took so amazing photos😃

We cant wait to visit again

The facilities, the events and everything that goes on at this amazing place is spectactular✨️✨️✨️

✨️Review✨️

One of the oldest pubs in the Scotland so seeing it was a must for us.
It is well known for being haunted and the WiFi password is even the " hauntedinn".

On first look pulling up outside in the carpark it was breathtaking, all of Scotlands beauty surrounds this beautiful hotel/pub.

Going in side for me (my personal review) was another matter.
Although the place was full, busy and thrieving on first look as walking through the door it was impressive.

Boasting with historic artifacts and steping into another world we sat down to order with the smell of food surrounding us😃

The building is over 300 years old so there is a smell that goes with it, most of the staff wear kilts and there are a couple of fires in the bar where you order but there isnt alot of tables so you may need to wait for one if you are goinh for the fire.

On looking at what to order the boys did have a good choice to order from but it is a little pricey (to us anyway) and at this point I should state that there is a 10% sur charge on all orders which is written on the menu. It can be taken off if requested to do so.

There is music playing all round the building that gives off a good vibe, Jamie danced while he ate his lunch😃
I dont think its not children though but there were plenty of dogs so I would reccommend taking your fur babies🥰

On a whole this wasnt for us, we tried it and now can say we have been but its just not for the skouces.

Scotland is full of great experiences that turn into memories😃
On to the next.........
