Wishing you all the success, good health and happiness in the year ahead.

2021 has been testing, its had its highs and it's had some rock bottom lows too. But overall its been a year of growth, reflection and following my instinct too.

For 2022 I am looking forward to building new business relationships, working with new clients ready to grow their businesses, pushing myself to grow my business, inspiring my boys and doing things that make me feel happy and positive in business and in everyday life too.

Writing great ads copy is one of the key elements to getting better ads results. Here are my top 5 tips to writing high permforming ads.

1 - HEADLINE
Really grab the attention of the reader and hook them with Emotion, Promise or curiosity to stop them in their tracks. See the headline to this post

2 - IDEAL CUSTOMER
Aim your ad specifically at your Ideal Customer, really call them out in your copy, eg. "Forward Thinking Entrepreneurs download my guide..."

3 - ADD VALUE
How does your service or product make your ideal customer's life better? Tell them what problem your product will fix or what painpoint your irresistible offer will solve.

Keep it simple, to the point and avoid too much technical jargon. Instead try to use keywords that your Ideal Customer would likely search for when looking to solve the problem they have.

And make sure the copy has relevance to the creative you are using.

4 - CALL TO ACTION
Don't just rely on a CTA button within your ads actually write it in your copy. Tell your Ideal Customer exactly what you would like them to do, eg. Download my Guide, Book a Call, Apply Now

5 - TEST YOUR COPY
Test, Test, Test. Just like you would test what creative works best you can also test what copy on your ads work best too.

If you have a Facebook Group this is for you!

Meta - the new name for the Facebook Companies, announced today that they are bringing new tools for you to use to make your Facebook group 'look and feel unique'. These include:

➡️ Customisable colours, backgrounds and fonts.
➡️ Tools to allow your group to engage in the way they want to.
➡️ You will be able to create a unique greeting message and share group rules with new members automatically.
➡️ Members will be able to award content they find valuable which encourages engagement.
➡️ Facebook are also testing the ability for admins to create subgroups in your groups for specific topics (including PAID subgroups) - this will be helpful for members of your group if they are interested in specific things in your group. Also helpful for you if you are perhaps running a separate paid course to your group/membership community
➡️ Community Chats will allow people to connect in Facebook and Messenger virtually or in person, along will arrange reoccurring events.
➡️ Interestingly for those with Pages and Groups, Facebook are bringing a new consumer experience that brings the best of both to one place. This new experience will apparently also help admins build their communities in one space.

Some of the things mentioned are in the testing stage and will be rolled out in the New Year but it sounds like they could really help you make more of your groups and make engaging and collaborating easier for your members. Which essentially should help your audiences grow. 👏

Measure the Right Metrics

If you're running ads you should know what metrics you should be measuring.

➡️ Conversion Rate - These are your results so could be the number of total number of sign ups, leads, sales or even downloads for an ebook.

➡️ Frequency - The average number of times people are seeing your ads. If this number is high but your not converting then something needs fixing.

➡️ ROAS - That's your Return on Ads Spend. So how much revenue are you making for every £ you spend on ads. To work this out its Revenue/Ad Spend .

➡️Cost Per Click - CPC - the cost of a clock from your ads to your website.

➡️ Click Through Rate - CTR - this is your percentage of people who have clicked on your ad against the number of people who've actually seen the ad. This helps you understand how engaging the ads are.

➡️ Cost Per Action - CPA our Cost per result is a calculation of how much each result has actually cost so total Ad Spend/ Number of Results. This is a figure you want to push down whilst increasing your conversion rate therefore improving your revenue for the same ad spend.

If you've seen my stories today you will see that it's just over 6 weeks to Black Friday.

Like I said in my stories please don't wait till then to start promoting your offer, as it will be simply too late. So here's a few tips from me;

* Increase your messenging now - talk more about your products or services
* Create & post engaging content regularly
* Your Content should be about getting to know you, like you and trust you.
* Use your email lists - make sure you are getting in their inboxes regularly
* if you're doing all the above already why not use social media ads too to reach more potential customers in time for Black Friday.

The word bubble has been used alot these past 12 months! Support, Childcare and Friendship bubble to name a few. I've had an extra bubble and it's one filled with support, advice, encouragement, cheerleaders, motivation even yoga!

This bubble was started on the back of a course that could have been railroaded by Covid, lockdown 1.0 and all the headache that came with that
The situation didn't break us it actually made us stronger.
This bubble is a fabulous group of women that have different backgrounds, live in far reaching locations but have common goals to move forward and build our businesses. Amazing things are happening.

Women supporting women really is a powerful thing. I'm so proud to be a part of this bubble. ❤

My 3 Tips for Great Ads

1. Quit Boosting posts - This isn't really the best way to promote your business. Have a Strategy before you begin. Get on to Ads manager and create a campaign around the right objective.

2. Install your Pixel - make sure you have your Facebook Pixel installed properly on your website. This gives you the ability to track your website visitors and to build audiences based off specific actions.

3. Test, Test, Test - Test different audiences, budgets, creatives and copy (there are of course more items you can test but these are good places to begin).

A Power Hour is a great way to get 1:1 support on a specific Social Media or Ads issue that's getting in your way! So whether that's guidance on what content to post or some advice on why your ads might be stalling we can sit down and go through the issues and I can give you some answers.

Before your session you'll give me some details about the problem you need solving so that I can come to your session prepared and armed with solutions.

My fees are £99 for Social Media Power Hours and £149 for Ads Power Hours and if you know you'll need more than 60 minutes I have a special price for clients who book 3 Power Hours together (to be used in 1hr blocks within 12 months of booking). The 3 hour Social Media Power Hour Package price is £249 and the Ads Power Hour Package price is £399.
