Hello Facebook people,

I don't post very much unless it's about the radio show. This post is still about music, but more personal.

Last week, my writing partner Dan Burton and I had a meeting at Atlantic UK. They have asked us to write a couple of songs for them. Today I had contact from Warner's. This has been about 27 years in the making; we're not there yet but at least we're in the room.

Dan and I have decided that we are going to proceed with a production team name, as is the style these days. Burton and Braid sounds like an accountancy firm.

Dan has been very busy today changing all his social media accounts to show us as producers, so could you all do me a favour and follow us? Social media profiles, followers and all that are very important to people at record labels. We haven't quite got around to dancing on TikTok yet.

As someone who has had some mental health issues in the past, this is something I can fully get behind and something I hope we are all in appreciation of.

Sorry for the late notice. I've had a brutal week. I just want to go to bed.

Anyway, I have a radio show to do. I was tempted to do a Glastonbury/Festival special, as suggested by Tim Inglis However, Glasto is a semi regular event.

What isn't a regular event is two of your friends getting married, one of whom is one of my oldest and best friends. Peter Queally & Sarah Penfold are getting married tomorrow, so I would like to dedicate the show to them tonight, sort of.

To honour Taylor Hawkins, who sadly passed away over the weekend, I'm going to do a drummer special.
