Time for a lovely bit of tuneage to help you relax in these stressful times. Laura Loh music's new song 'Drifting' is a beautiful mellow piano-led ballad with lots of synth textures and general good vibes.
Enjoy

There's always time for a song...
What better way to start your week than with a whole album of bangers? Featuring influences such as Blink 182, Rage Against The Machine, Twenty One Pilots and more, James Gourlay's album 'Take This to the Grave' is quality from start to finish.
I finished my first piece of work for James in February last year, we've been steadily working on his songs ever since and it's been an absolute blast. Very happy to finally see it out there!
As always, the songs from the album can be found on the official Hillside Studio Spotify Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0dONmGqjf3UlrISpLhxeWG?si=d769GpceQxWCjzZRFqan7w
RIP Rupert Neve, one of the true legends of the audio industry 💔
It is with great sadness that we announce that Rupert Neve has died.
While Rupert’s passions for music, creativity, and insistence on exceptional quality have made an indelible mark on the fabric of the recording industry, his kindness and generosity made him a legend to us all. Through his designs and through the music created with them, his spirit will live on eternally. God bless you, Rupert.

Currently featuring the Christmas song/video put together by Hannah Turner Music and myself (with a bit of help from the whole of Surrey), and the videos from One Winter's Night last year.
I've also updated the showreel compilation (play button in the bottom left), now featuring Laura Loh music, Tom Copson, Callum Hornby, Telephone Road, Hannah and the Hollylujah Chorus and Vic Cracknell.
It's a blast working with every one of you, and I hope we can make more lovely music in the new year.
A showcase gig organised by Gavin Thomas at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in January 2020, showcasing some of the most talented solo artists and bands from far and wide.
Very proud and very happy to say that Laura's track 'End Up Here Again' will be Song of the Day on BBC Sussex radio today from 4:30! One of my personal favourites from the EP, don't miss it.
My debut EP "Sunrise" is out now! 🌅🎶

Little peek behind the behind the curtain, here's what the final multitrack session looked like for 'A Strange Kind of Year'. Every single bit of colour is an individual audio event, vocals or instrumentation.
178 tracks including folders and groups, 30-40 singers, and one very hard-working CPU.

Done some great work on various songs with Vic Cracknell over the last year or two, he's now released a lovely album featuring many of these song, check it out!
Vic Cracknell · Album · 2020 · 12 songs.
It's finally bloody here! The amazingly talented Hannah Turner Music and myself have put together a music video for an original Christmas song written by Hannah, produced by me. It's been an unbelievably intense month of stress, laughs, tears (sometimes joyful and sometimes not so much) and even a spreadsheet.
It's a tribute to the wonderful people who are still making the effort to bring us their wonderful music, and features an abundance of talented artists and hilarious video clips of people from the Guildford/Surrey scene.
We're raising money for Challengers, a wonderful charity that helps differently-abled kids have a place to develop and interact in an inclusive space, so please give generously
