😢 Almost all of The Ultimate's track has now been cut-up ready for removal, it's only a matter of time before almost all traces of this once record-breaking roller coaster, are no more.

👀 Parque Warner Madrid have changed the name of their Bolliger and Mabillard Inverted Coaster.

ℹ️ Formerly known as Batman: Arkham Asylum, the roller coaster is now named Shadows of Arkham. This is the roller coaster's third name since it opened in 2002.

Alton Towers have ambitions to become a "365-day a year" resort.

As found in recently published documents from , the documents state the council's plans for tourism in the area over the next 10 years and Alton Towers play a huge part in this plan.

The document states plans to have Alton Towers operate all year round. The document also lists a proposed shared 10 year plan to boost tourism in the area as a whole.

😍 Hossoland is a brand new theme park being constructed in Brojce, Poland.

ℹ️ Yesterday (26/2/23), this artwork for a Vekoma Ghostrider was released to the public.

The Ghostrider is a brand new coaster model from Vekoma. Some statistics will be listed below.

Height: 53.5m (175.ft)
Footprint: 195.0 x 40.0 m
Minimum height requirement: 1.2m
Trains / length / capacity of train: 2 trains, 4 cars per train, seats 16 riders maximum
Capacity: 1050 riders per hour

ℹ️ The first Vekoma Ghostrider is expected to be installed at the all new Hossoland in Poland. Hossoland is expected to open in 2024.

🤩 A brand new family attraction will be coming to Blackpool this May, themed to The Gruffalo and named "The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse", this brand new play area cost £2.3m and will be operated by Merlin Entertainments.

Kate Shane, Regional Director for Blackpool, said: “We are incredibly excited to bring some of the UK’s best loved children’s characters to Blackpool."

Kate further added: "The world of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler will be amongst brilliant company alongside our already strong cluster of family attractions on the resort, delivered with Merlin’s world-class guest experience."

The attraction will open next door to SEALIFE.

ℹ️ Olympia Looping has operated at Wiener Prater three times previously from March to around August/September of the years 2016, 2018 and 2022 respectively.

Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach have now finished removing their log flume.

The park have raised over £5,500 in auctioning off parts of the ride, all of which has been donated to local charities.

The log flume opened at the park in 1989 and stayed at the park for around 33 years.

Passholder Pre-book tickets for the Alton Towers fireworks dates have increased from £20 to £25 (£5 increase) for this season.

Normal daily admissions for the fireworks dates start from £44 per person.
