The Knife Angel has left Walsall following yesterday's closing ceremony (28th December 2023).

The closing ceremony saw Mayor Andy Street, Councillor Garry Perry, Councillor Aftab Nawaz, Mark Brindley from The James Brindley Foundation, and Clive Knowles, the founder of the British Ironwork Centre, join together at Gallery Square, Walsall to honor the end of the Knife Angel's visit.

The Knife Angel, located at Gallery Square, Walsall, certainly became the focal point to conversations as it was unveiled today.

Awareness and education is vital if we are to stomp out knife crime in our town and nation.

As we go through December we'll be hosting a number of KIC Live pop-up podcast & radio shows in the town centre to give young people an opportunity to talk, share their experiences and access support.
