I have been lost for words over the outpour of support for the 2nd over the weekend.

This community is powerful, absolutely remarkable and full of formidable woman who are making an impact and leaving their mark - I was soo transformed hearing success nuggets and just their story as a whole and what’s been the highlight is that together each and everyone of the guests is making women empowerment a reality.

Inspiration doesn’t come far off, it’s right from your network 🥰

In line with saluting our sisters for black history month, I just wanted to show appreciation to my - some formidable women who continue to inspire me through everything they do. While we don’t always need to speak everyday, seeing your journeys, what you are upto fuels me with inspiration, as I’m sure others feel the way.

Slide 2 - . I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I regularly catch up with her stories because her strength amazes me, to be so confident in the entrepreneurship journey and giving it a 100%. You inspire me to never give up on my ideas

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life right where you are. 🌟

Speaking to the girls yesterday, I was reminded of the goodness of God that he knows the plans he has for us, to prosper but sometimes we get frustrated because we’re trying to implement our own plans. The culture of instant and now has really taken over our daily lives. But God is saying I have a plan, just because you’re going through or something now, it doesn’t mean I’m not there. It really hammered the point of being grateful in the now; there are so many answered prayers we’re living in, so many wonderful things that have happened to us. So even when things don’t seem to be going great, let’s remember to be grateful for everything else for the now and wait in faith that he will make all things beautiful 🌺

In short… Embrace the journey, chasing and working towards goals, and thriving in the now. 💼✨

Hey lovelies 👋 we’ve had some new faces on here, I thought I’d reintroduce myself.

My name is Ruth, thriving on the third floor. I’m obsessed with management which is fitting for my career path and role as a Project Manager 💼 📝

I also hold a few titles and wear several hats so I’ll summarise these:

I offer Career coaching for women to break their limiting beliefs and succeed especially in the corporate world where representation is still a big topic 🤦🏾‍♀️

I’m the Project Director for my business consultancy company working with a team, we problem solve to help businesses improve their effectiveness 🚀. Other services we offer include Virtual Assistants, Project Coordinators, Tender Writers… basically if you’re a business and have a problem, reach out 😉. I mainly work with organisations with a social mission 🌎 📊

My passion for social businesses saw me co-found where we empower youth entrepreneurs through education and connecting them to opportunities so they can be involved in the economic growth of Southern Africa. 🇿🇦 🇿🇼 🇧🇼

I’m also an Event Manager, I have successfully managed a number of corporate, communal and different types of events but I’m passionate about the events I put on through - Where ambition meets opportunity (do follow us for our upcoming event in Nov) 👯‍♀️👭

In all this I love pouring out my knowledge about my career and life learnings particularly to women and youth so I do so through this platform and speaking engagements 🎤

Never wear anything that makes you feel less than you are 💁🏾‍♀️

🛍People make their assessments in the first few seconds of meeting one another. Your clothes give impressions about your social aptitude, confidence and flexibility.

🛍My advice for you when you're getting dressed for work, take a few seconds to consider the psychological impact of what you're wearing, how it fits with where you're going, and who you're with.

🛍There’s no need to buy a complete new wardrobe, little add-ons make a difference. The key word to all these changes is consistency. If you consistently look put together, polished and sophisticated, you will feel systematically confident, act accordingly and people around you will perceive you in that way.
